yeah it probably came with a sparkler, a kids toy and a voucher for $1 off your next purchase of Uncle Ted's Vintage Kentucky Red Tomato Glaze... tomato sauce to you and i ;)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Perhaps if you are drinking the major distributors beer but most folks who enjoy beer here don't mess with that much.

there are plenty of craft brews and mircro brews in the US that are wonderful.

as many have pointed out some beers are made to be drank at warmer temp to help bring out their flavors.

What kind of beer did the OP order at the resturant?

lol this ios the best part

    a mexican corona lol

they only had that and some other crap plus a few french ones
(needless to say ,i guess this place wont be winning any awards for best french restaraunts)

Yeah.. Like everywhere, you find lovely brews from smaller breweries, but in general, what is sold in your average restaurants, etc. is piss - you generally do not have much choice. When I lived in california, I always drank some weird mexican beers.

  • The first night I was in Paris, France we got beers and they were cold or at least cooler I think. The only thing that sucked was they were the most expensive on the menu. I think the waiter knew we didn't know which beer we ordered. Which we didn't. LOL :D Almost 9 Euros each. But we were on holiday and it was cool.

Germany has the best beer in the world IMO. Cold or warm its all good. It goes down so smooth and b4 you know it. Your dancing on the tables. LOL :)

Maybe you should have ordered wine at the French restaurant, as I don't think the French are big on beer. Although, the one I go to in the city has some decent Sam Adams on tap, and cold too..

I just find it ironic that you listened to a waiter as to why the beer wasn't chilled who was serving a Mexican beer in a French restaurant in New York... and BELIEVED HIM :D
