This seems like a pretty dumbass technicality.
He was born in Hawaii (correct?) which would make him a natural-born citizen.
This document is saying he lost that status when his mom moved his family to Indonesia before he turned 18.
Can you really lose your citizenship that way, through no fault of your own? I don't think you can.
If you can, I think it's a pretty dumbass technicality.everybody wants the most they can possibly get

It is very possible actually. NO clue if it occurred to him or not. I know of no facts to stipulate either way.
I hold dual citizenship in both the UK and US. I was born In Ireland but my mother was a citizen of the USA when I was born. Her and my father who was citizen of both the UK and US lived in Belfast at the time of my birth. There are all kinds of quirks and red tape.0 -

There are some strange technicalities people have been calling into question for some time. For instance, Did Hawaii ever LEGALLY become a state?
Any of this would take forever to debate/resolve through the courts system. The only impact I see it having is on how people view Obama, expecially Xenophobics.Walking can be a real trip
