oh how petty can you really be?

It's probably the most real thing you'll read in your lifetime. Too bad you don't recognize it.

Harmless is subjective within this concept.
No it is actually measurable. Compare it against other substances like heroin, cigs, caffeine, alcohol and you realize it is the least harmful. That is a fact.
  • Im not worried Gue. A few years from now, you will be sitting on a couch quite similar to the one in my own office. All because your life is a steaming pile of crap. A byproduct of your drug use. Which will leave you crying and moaning about "how could my life have come to this". With an obliterated self esteem, a shattered family life and seemingly hopeless future.

In case you missed the memo....legal or not....drugs are bad!

    So...
let's get more harmful. Prison, the streets, whatever it takes. Yeah, right.

You wish. Your wishes are yours alone, and it's pathetic that you work in the industry you do. People like you are the reason I got out of the medical profession.

I also recall a post of yours that has you wishing you could be a teen again, knowing what you know now.

How does your wish differ from mine on that same subject?

    Hmmm.

If you're an addict, or "former" addict, that's okay, but this hardline approach of yours is just a common recovery symptom you should know about if you knew what you were talking about.

you're a charlatan. go peddle your pretend profession elsewhere.........

before you go there, i'm a recovered addict, but have been clean for a long time with a wonderful family and successful career. many many people overcome addiction, whether to drugs of others things, everyday. of course, i think you would have preferred me and others to 'exterminate' ourselves (your own words). what a pitiful, sad soul you are.............
Perhaps someday I'll crawl home, beaten, defeated. But not as long as I can make stories out of my heartbreak, beauty out of sorrow.

Yeah Carl Sagan had a bad life. SO do the Beatles, Eddie Vedder, Willie Nelson, Keith Stroup, my friends at High Times, etc., etc. etc...

I will bet some of my small fortune that I earned myself, that the Beatles had a better life than you...

Wow, you're really out there huh? From the other posts I've determined that you're a counselor of some kind, is that right? Don't you understand that the people you see are the ones hitting the bottom hardest?

I am going to Bridge School this weekend and I know I will see families smoking joints, pipes, etc. I mean parents with their teenage kids. Do you really think everyone's life there "is a steaming pile of crap"? Quit judging people based on one aspect of their life.

News to me and the world? I've never heard anybody complain of this. I'm a High Times reader and they are sorta of friendly competitors if this was true wouldn't they cover it? Hmmm... Where does this BS come from?

It is well known that Narc Emery is a narc, except to you but no wonder concidering High Times is a fucking joke.

"I'm a High Times reader" LOL that says it all.

Why isn't the DEA going after seed dealers in Amsterdam and other places with saner marijuana policy who for just as long sell seeds to US customers and are still doing so?

Because they don't have the fuckin right to thats why. The DEA is not a world police.

She was involved in drug trafficking? Have you seen the evidence? What do know about it? I know Marc Emery sold some seeds and unlike all the other seed sellers in Amsterdam he got nailed because he got political and actually challenged the empty suits. So they drag in his friend an activist that very well might die in prison if he doesn't bow down and take their deal and muzzle for life? What evidence do you have that she is a drug trafficker? The DEA and DA in the USA I do not trust on this at all. And for good reason. This is a common tactic for law enforcement, charge another that person loves even if they are innocent. That's like by the book standard operating procedure in the USA and especially at the top the great evil DEA.

If you don't have evidence? That's called libel, you can be sued for that. Not that she will, she's classy unlike others that throw out libelous charges with no proof.

Marc Emery is a piece of conniving shit. He has stolen more money and ripped off more people than ANY other seed dealer by a long shot. The only reason he was able to grow his magazine and seed business was because good breeders advanced him stock, which he then took advantage of and let the genetics go out to a local guy to raise crossbred hermies. Anyone who is dealing with this piece of slim should be aware, he will backstab you and get you into more trouble than it is worth.

  • The thing I never understood about medical marijuana is that people know that THC is the active ingredient in it, so why not make it in pill form for all the people who need it? I mean it would be much easier to have quality control that way, plus smoking anything can not be good for your lungs.

see what you're saying, but they haven't mastered it yet.

it is possible to eat foods made with marijuana, so that is one way to avoid the negatives related to smoking.

would other posters agree this is, to say the least, a little harsh. bashing other posters is not allowed and usually results in banishment or suspension.

telling someone their life is a "steaming pile of crap" is not something that belongs here.

do you really deserve the privilege of posting here?

Read it again. The comment was not telling him his life "was" but that his life "would become" undesirable due to drug use.

    Face it.
Drugs are a means of escape. If you need to get high to "enjoy life" you have greater problems than whether or not drugs are legal.

who the fuck says the average pot smoker is getting high to enjoy life? Maybe there are people that stay stoned all the time to dull some kind of pain...but the vast majority use it no differently than the occasional drink. Making blanket statements like that, about tens of millions of people, makes you sound like a prejudiced ass.

You are like the third healthcare worker to post here with this attitude in the last few months....wtf do they teach you people in school? Or maybe the question should be, who sets the curriculum?

Music for some people is a means of escape. Is that bad as well? What about physical activity? Sports? Sex? Food? Sometimes I read a book to escape from the hectic work week. Do I have a problem with books? Or exercise? Or that cup of morning joe with that awful drug caffeine?

You might want to try finding some logic in your arguements.
