Tomorrow is Election day !! Which as you all know means we will have a new president. Hopefully , Sen. Barack Obama will win this thing in a landslide, but there will be plenty of states who will side with John Mccain. I encourage ALL new voters to get out there and vote because it is YOUR right to do so. The only thing that I can say is that , THANK GOD we dont have to sit and watch another state of the union address with that scumbag George W. Bush as our president.

CMON BARACK , BRING IT HOME !!!!

McCain will win, but either way, Bush is out so good. Of course the female Bush will be president one day anyway.

Can't wait until you wake up and realize Obama is fake.

He's a very good speaker with nothing behind his words. I don't expect anyone here to alter there perspective on him any time soon. But, I'm betting he'll be out in four years and "not winning" will actually help the Republicans over the next 16 years.

Oh we will enjoy it...don't worry about that.

As for 2012, bring on Mitt, The Huckster, and Palin. None of them have a snowballs chance in hell of becoming President in 4 years

More positivety is needed for whomever wins this election and please don't be too shocked if McCain wins this election. Acorn was a smoked screen for more powerful form of voter fraud, computer manipulation. I'll post more on it later. Even though I believe the eletoral count will be BHO....341.....JM...163

Only way to defeat this is to get out and vote in masses and stay there and make sure you vote for either candidate.

  • Good riddance W!!! And where are all those that supported him all these years? It makes you wonder how he ever got elected with all these peeps now saying they never supported him. Every day is Halloween for the Republicans.

That's what has to bother the republicans... There is really no up and coming people in the party for 2012. Maybe Palin if she can improve her image in the next couple of years. Maybe someone like Bobby Jindal, who should have probably been introduced at the GOP convention... But other than that, they don't really seem to have a "next one".

When did I say I hope my country fails? I never said that and never would. I simply think Obama's policies will create more economic problems. Additionally, I believe that with a Democrat congress "his policies" won't necessarily be what he stated during his campaign. For instance, I could see something like $250K tax increases being lowered to $150K ect. But, even as they stand they are redistributive and IMHO bad for economic growth.

There's no one way it happens. If its overwhelming and obvious, in favor of one candidate over the other, the losing candidate usually will make a concession speech late in the evening. If its a nailbiter, and down to the last few votes, it can go on for a while. In 2000 it took weeks, because of the confusion particularly in Florida, and recounts had to happen. I have a feeling a lot of people aren't going to get much sleep tomorrow night!

I actually think this guy gets the nom for the GOP if McCain loses:

He's a rising star and handled the latest hurricane in Louisiana really well and has really high approval ratings.

  • If Obama wins (which he probably will), then most everyone should quit complaining about Bush's "fuck ups". Any problems Obama inherits from Bush will now be Obama's problems. I don't want to hear anymore whining about Bush. I doubt that happens...but if you get your guy in there...shut up about Bush. It's over, he's done...it will then be up to Obama to FIX Bush's "fuck ups". Yes...including Iraq.

That's why this place is going to be hysterical after Obama is elected. They can't blame Bush anymore and it's going to fall on their guy. Yet, I'm betting their'll be some sort of new scapegoat.... maybe Biden or Pelosi? I don't know yet.

Actually, I figured that would just shift right-wing whining from Clinton to Obama.

As for this. Nothing can ever change who is responsible for Iraq. But for the rest, it'll be Obama's responsibility to put out some fires-Some started by Bush, others not-and if he can't, then it's a failed presidency. Though not by February 1 as I suspect we'l already be hearing.

Here's the thing... some of the blame will still (and should still) go to Bush. Just like with Clinton -> Bush. The idiots are the ones who blame everything that happened in the last 8 years on what Clinton left behind, but also the ones who let Clinton entirely off the hook and blame everything on Bush. Basically partisan jackasses on each side.

Same thing this time around. Bush left a mess for whoever takes over, so yes, some rough patches that the next president comes across could be partly blamed on Bush. But also, some will be entirely the new guy's fault.

Like everything else, the truth is somewhere in the middle.

No one blamed Reagan for George H.W. Bush's failure to get anything done; that was his own bag of shit.

Obama will be held to the same standard. If he can't produce any results in 4 years as President, well then he's the one that's going to have to answer for it; Not Bush.

that's b/c they are all old and dying, and no one is buying what the old people are selling for once. As for Palin, if W. didn't become president I would say that no one that stupid would ever have a shot at winning president, but, alas.

Jindal was a little too busy dealing with the Hurricane that hit during the convention. He was supposed to appear either the first or second night of the convention but canceled to take care of his state.

All in all, if McCain gets in, he not only has to clean up the Bush Factor, he is gonna have to babysit & clean up the continual Sarah Palin mess! If it doesn't kill him first. She will become the biggest scapegoat factor in history. You betcha! Winkin' right at ya babe!
