Still don't agree with you though.

I think they are making fun of the right wing religious fanatics that state natural disasters like Katrina are Gods way of cleaning and making pay the sinners of New Orleans...funny how quiet those same people are when Tornado's rip through the bible belt, or Florida is ravaged by a hurricane. No reference to God wrathe then.

    Agreed!

I think he was pretty good at both.

Hell, had it been some republicans saying that, this board would implode and demand a formal national apology.
We all see the hypocrisy on this board.

    What are you talking about?

They're assholes. Period. If Republicans said something like that, they'd be assholes. Period. I don't really see the board 'imploding' either way.

Turns out Olberman and Michael Moore are pompous asses! I'm shocked!

You said it there. Olbermann is no longer watchable. He is so far in the tank for Obama, his show has just become a smear the Republicans hour. I used to watch his show even though I disagreed with a lot of what he said, but now it is frustrating to watch and hear Fixed New or Fox Noise over and over and over. We get it!

I think calling him the liberal version of Bill O'Reilly is pretty much spot on.

Yep...sad. He was a good anchor on sportscenter too, how the mighty have fallen. His head is so far up Howard Dean et al's asses that he's now only showing his legs.
    hippiemom = goodness
  • O'Reilly's a bit more independent than Olberman. O'Reilly at least attempts to appear as though he's not sucking Bush's dick. Olberman is openly giving Obama fellatio on TV every night.

He's trying very, very, very, very, very hard to be Ed Murrow. It's not working.

Corporate, please don't equate Bill O'Reilly with the word 'independent' ever again. It does not equate.

He believes in global warming etc. Not saying he's independent, but he attempts to appear that way.

Olberman couldn't say a negative thing about Obama if you offered him a million anal beads.

Look, I think the Bush administration is batshit crazy, but even THEY say global warming is a reality, man-made, etc. I really don't think this is a debate.

Except for the Republican vice-presidential candidate, apparently.

No problem. I have done the same. In fact, I'm about to pour a little bourbon for myself right now.
