Happy 4th of July, to All My Fellow Patriots!
Hopefully,
one thing we can all agree on in this day is that we all have a great love for our respective countries on some level or another. We have a sense of pride in who we are as a people, and the great possibilities of what we can accomplish.
Let us gain inspiration from those who have had the courage of conviction to speak the truth in the past, and let us maintain hope and vigilance for the real possibility of peace and happiness both locally and also as a world community of self-sovereign nations united together, not by the convoluted and corruptible ties of global governance, but by the unmatched awesomeness of the human experience and the endless possibilities laid before us by the ever present forces of life.
Let us think today about our great nations of this world. Let us think about where we stand this day and, more importantly, where we would like to see ourselves tomorrow. May we struggle to guide our collective consciousness in the direction of true and just understanding, and may we always fight to reclaim, maintain, and uphold our true birthright as sovereign beings and thus guide our beloved countries out of the clutches of an unelected internationalist corporatocracy and back into harmony with the will of the people themselves.
Happy dappy, babbly-dabbly, rambling-shambling, drifting and uplifting 4th of July!

I'm curious what this original link was? Very nice post Drifting. Happy 4th to all!The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance,

It's funny on it's own...but to realize that DBTS didn't actually intend for this video to represent his 4th of July sentiments made it even more funny! He he...............a ganja induced copy and paste gone wrong. However, it didn't seen to effect the thoughtful post that followed. Perhaps I inhaled too much firework smoke tonight, but I kind of got a kick out of the first link. I love silliness. i have never seen fireworks better than the ones i saw tonight, in a sleepy little town south of boston. the finale was the most intense i have ever witnessed.
now, i could go on a tirade about how this is a nation built on slavery and genocide and survives on it still, but that's not going to stop me from enjoying some good fireworks. i just wish we could have an independence day worth celebrating.0
