    I was in AK about three summers ago and it's a great place. PJ may not have a lot of fans up there but I'm sure they would make a lot of fans if they played there. I'm sure the band would really dig the sights/nature up there.

    Hey if they can do Missoula . they can do Fairbanks :D & any excuse is a good one for a visit to Alaska .

    Name some big name bands that have played Alaska. I know Ozzy did some dates up there. I'm just curious who else has played there.
    Let's see those 2013 dates in the southern states.

    I think he was referring to some "legendary post" I made saying I hope PJ tours Canada extensively.. Which they are.. I knew it would happen, as soon as people started speculating about the Canadian anthem on pearljam.com, I starting saving money. :)

    I don't think it's "legend" material, but I think it's an example of how faith and will can guide your life.. At least it will in September on the biggest road trip I've ever conceived of.. :)

    And if PJ plays in Alaska, you can be sure I'll be there to rock out cold with you guys! :D

    other then Ozzy & Metillica , i am not sure whos played up here. as i have not lived my whole life here. i am sure that other bands have been here. just not sure who they all are.

    because it's fucking cold out there!
    although they might consider playing in alaska... outdoors.
    i have seen daughter, east troy, on tb2k. it was really funny. ed's spit would freeze before it hit the ground :) thank god for the wine!!

    thats a lame ass excuse ... i lived in Chicago for over 30 years. i'll take a Fairbanks cold spell any day over the WINDY city.

    Sure it can drop to a -45. but that lasts a day or 2 , in Chi-town , the temp drops to a -20 with a 30mph wind , making it -55 .. now thats cold.

    & as to East Troy, I was at the show where the afternoon temps where in the mid 70's & that night we froze our asses off in 26 degree weather. & East Troy is what 70 miles from Chicago?

    i am not that good when it comes to the celsius scale. but lets say , below 0 , then even fucking colder , then even Fucking colder :D.

    In the age of the revolving sports franchises, that is a stupid question.

    We have less then 1,000,000 people living here. In an area 1/2 the size of the lower 48 states. Where i grew up i had 200,000 neighbors ! i don't expect this state to have a major sports franchise. logistically its impossible.

    but that doesnt mean we don't enjoy Sports , or Music, or Living !
