Who else ordered the poster book? Anyone get it yet? The regular editions have arrived in Europe so maybe someone here has it?

I ordered the limited and it was shipped on the 27th December, so can't be too far away I wouldn't have thought.

yeah its been cooking here in welly lately, i imagine queenstown will be an inferno. kiwi music is great in places, we're really nailing the whole dub/roots/reggae thing at the mo, it's really become our national sound. stuff like black seeds, fat freddy's, hollie smith, open souls, kora, katchafire is the sound of a kiwi summer. as for the rest, rock is pretty bland, hip hop is as drab ever, but some great electronic stuff out there though like shapeshifter & concord dawn.

Cheers my bro bought me the new opshop album need to listen to that soon, went to the warehouse to buy Kora, but they are such a useless shop (well the one in Gore is) they have never heard of them. Fat freddy's album is good, but they have such a bad live show almost as bad as the chilli peppers.
you are right about the dub scene.
i'm glad since i got back i haven't heard anything about michael murphy

  • Just outta curiosity, did anyone enter the poster competition? I had grand intentions to, mainly just to remind them that we haven't forgotten they owe us a show in NZ already (if not to wow them with my artistic genius.. cough). But like most things with me, never quite happened...

i prefer the contests that you can get a bit lateral on. a poster is a poster is a poster (and my son has nicked my crayons).
