Now the video is hugely out of context, you don't see the build-up to the "confrontation" but it was quite interesting someone got that close to Rice without being challange. The video then cuts to two anti-war protesters (both women i think) being man-handled by a few cops out of the room. Again the video does not show if the two also tried to get to Rice or were just screaming "war criminal".... interesting nevertheless.

No one on this planet pisses me off more than her...not even W.
I wish that woman had gotten to slap Condi across the face.
I also would like to know why the cops were using such force with the woman they were dragging out in the hot pink shirt. She was different, yes?
pigs....Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away0 -
top notch security there at the capitol..........0

As much as I disagree with Ms. Rice..... the Supreme Court adopted a time, place, manor doctrine for a reason.
Edit: Meaning I don't think protesters should be allowed in the room...out side of the building yes. In the room no.Writing checks that others pay.....0 -
Hilarious, if that crazy lady was a republican or a conservative "protesting" some left-wing figure/cause.... Said protester would be accused of facsism or censorship....0
-
If you turn the volume up really loud you can hear Condi utter "don't go there"
Bitch almost got clawed to death..Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I dont like this administration at all, but I cant see how people think this type of behavior helps their cause in the least bit. The lady comes across as an instable nut job, and most people arent going to get past that to even understand her message.0

I agree that
a) she is not helping her cause but looking and acting like a loony toon
b) she should not be allowed in the room.0 -
It doesn't accomplish anything but make people say...hehe ..hey..lookie...crazy person...lol
To be fair, It is a reasonable shortcut given the ever extensive avenues of "proper" public discourse. I think it's more of a societal barometer than anything.
When people act out like that, It's a sign that something is appreciably wrong with the system.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I dont agree. I think with organized protests and things of that nature you have a point. I think when a smattering of people like in this case, or like on Maher's show last week, acting out to more or less cause a scene and be disruptive, it makes them look like nutjobs and actually turns people away from that kind of fringe element of the anti-war movement.0 -

She had blood splattered all over her face and was calling Condi a war criminal.
And you know what? It has people here talking. Maybe that was her point.
To remind people and get them talking.
I still wish she had slapped Condi...Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome

That last post was great. It's disruptive, inappropriate, mean spirited, crazy etc....... to boot. I believe that "protesters" that pull this kind of stunt, ie-Code Pinkos, should have their privilege of protesting permanently revoked.....0

It has people talking about HER, not about her message. People who post on a political message board dont need her to get us talking. If she wants to try to get people talking it should be the people who arent as involved in political discussions as most of us are. And Im sorry, but I would say that vast majority of those people will write her off as simply being a nut.0 -

It is hysterical.
She was exercising her right to protest. It is her civil right to do so.
You don't think that when clips are run on your local news or CNN that they are not explaining why she was there?
Do you know why she was there?
See?Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome

Don't get me wrong, I hear you, but you have to ask yourself when did people become "crazy" like this? Why are people going to this extreme?
It's not normal, but the sentiment is quite widespread...oddly and internationally so.
Clarifying/disturbing.... either way. It's happening. You can't dismiss it 100%Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

Wrong is wrong and inappropriate is inappropriate, regardless of the "sentiment." You can't justify irrational and/or juvenile behavior because you're "really mad" or "passionate" about something...0

See?
Of course I know why she was there. But I am an anti-war guy, so with regards to me, she is preaching to the choir.
Do you honestly think she is going to persuade anyone because of her behavior? If someone thinks Rice is a war criminal, they will continue to think that. If someone doesnt she is a war criminal, they are not going to now think she is, because a lady got in her face. I think that this method of protesting is at best a fruitless endeavor, at worse, actually hurts her cause.0 -

Funny how it seems emancipating now by the millions, and everywhere.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
