Who Wrote The Patriot Act?

I'm just curious about this.

You would think an act of such enormous consequence would have some information out there as to who wrote it.

Do a search yourself.
All i come up with is an article that says Bob Graham may have played a small role.

So i was wondering, who wrote it, how did they write it so goddamn fast, and why did they not take credit for it.

You know its almost 150 pages long, is incredibly complex, and was written and passed within just under 1 month and 15 days after ... oh shit ... have to say it ... 9/11?

Passed on Oct. 24th, 2001.

So, did they have, like a team of lawyers and unnamed senators sitting round the clock drafting this fucker?

Or did Cheney have it in his back pocket since the PNAC days, just waiting to spring it?

Seriously.
It seems a tad odd to me.

    this mother fucker wrote the patriot act, which basicaly grinds up our constitution and spits on it [Source:I Love RON PAUL],
    but then he does THIS: In 2006 he joined Kenneth Starr in challenging the constitutionality of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act [1].

    SOX may be cumbersome and obnoxious to those in business, but goddamn, it's a lot less sinful than Patriot Act.

    Someone from Israel probably faxed it over shortly after PNAC...
