    Kiddie... kiddies...
It wasn't the U.S or the U.k. that defeated Hitler's Germany... it was a combined effort by both the U.S. and the U.K. and Hitler's poor decision making.
Hitler lost the war when he decided to direct air attacks over London... instead of the original plan to hit RAF Fields and Hawker, DeHaviland and Supermarine factories... and when he opened the Eastern Front with Russia.
Had he listened to his military commanders... destroyed English Air Corps... and concentrated the fight to take over Western Europe (and dealt with Russia at a later date)... the outcome may have been completely different.
    ...
Also... Germany declared War of The United States in order to sink U.S. flagged merchant ships as direct acts of War, not high seas war crimes... we didn't rush out to save Europe.

We only need one thread. They all start with religion and end with Palestine with WWII in the middle.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

No. There is no choice whatsoever.

There are no options. It's either believe and follow, or be punished.

    That's not a choice, that's an ultimatum.

but while yr at it, please tell us about ww2...and how the u.s. didn't do shit, ok?
If you are going to talk WW2, you should probably broaden your knowledge of the events beyond watching Saving Private Ryan 10 times. Nobody would ever say that the US did shit, because it is widely acknowledged that they were instrumental in ending the war pretty quickly. However, to think that the US saved any Allied ass in that war is wrong. If I were American, I would be ashamed that it took so long to even get involved in the war.

The Russians willingness to shovel Russian after Russian into the fire on the Eastern Front tied up most of the German army and allowed the Allies (you know, the countries who fought the Germans for the whole war and the US) some slack in their advance into Europe.

I hate taking anything away from anybody who fought in that war, but it really irks me when even one stupid American thinks that they won the war by themselves.

The point you make is ridiculous. You're turning this into a christianity vs islam argument when it's clearly a democracy (freedom of speech) vs theocracy/dictatorship (no freedom of speech) problem. If we weren't so quick to oppose our beliefs with those of oppressed people from the other side of the world some of the shit going on today would not happen.
With all our freedoms and material for thought, we should be smarter than that.
As for the story, remember that in China and north corea people get executed for expressing their thoughts, in Egypt bloggers get prison for life for writing their feelings about the regime. This is not a cultural or religious problem, it's a political problem and the plain ignorance of human rights.

yeah right, i'm soooo ashamed...by the way canada really kicked some ass over there...y'all should be so proud...we had ended it before you got your soldiers unfrozen. you guys even have soldiers, or do y'all just throw snowballs at the bad guys?

i watched private ryan once, just so you know

it's the same old shit...we waited too long then - so now we don't fuck around, get in the middle of the shit, and we should be ashamed of that too.

America, the only place where no matter what you do, it's wrong.
