The Dalai Lama accepted the Congressional Gold Medal this afternoon. But, CNN cut him off during his speech, as he was talking about China's relationship with Tibet . With only three minutes left in the speech, CNN cut away to the anchor (whose name I forget), who then babbled for a minute about the history of the award and what the Dalai Lama said in his speech. Instead of just showing the speech. The network then moved on to the scandal-plagued president of Oral Roberts University.
Flipping channels to find the rest showed Fox News had left it earlier than CNN, if they had carried it all. But kudos to MSNBC, who carried the Dalai Lama's words all the way through.
Here's CNN interrupting, 20 seconds in:

yep def bad karma...the entire neo-con/zionist cabal has been hell bent 24/7 on promoting a globalized bad karma campaign.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

Of course, CNN wouldn't want to risk offending big business with ties to China. They'll never risk rocking the boat because they're just functionaries of power.
It's pretty despicable when you think that there's supposed to be a 'free press'/media in the U.S.0 -

you guys give CNN too much credit. I doubt CNN showing his whole speach would have done anything to piss off China. They probably just wanted to hurry to the next Britney Spears sighting or a heartwarming story about an old lady and her cats.
Its about ratings and viewers. They know the masses dont want to listen to a boring speech from some old asian dude when they could be hearing the latest celebrity gossip. Or worse hearing two idiot talking heads talk about the news, rather than actually reporting the news.0
