so you're choosing to take a chance that he might be saying all this just to get elected??

you'd rather believe in some hope you're pulling out of nowhere, than go by facts from his history of voting and speeches?? seriously?

and you're willing to risk handing over the presidency to some guy based on this "chance?"

    wow.

let me ask you 2 questions... 2 honest questions... and please answer in your own words and dont quote anyone else or provide links... because i know about the report from about 4 years ago that said they shut down their weapons program... and please dont answer "well israel has nukes and we have nukes so whats the porblem"

    1. Do you believe that Iran truly has no interest in Nuclear weapon capablilties, and are being totally honest about their intentions that they are only in pursuit of nuclear energy and not weapons

    2. What do you think about a nuclear armed Iran? good thing, bad thing, or indifferent?

do you have some sort of crystal ball or something...? tea leaves and spit, perhaps...? are you some sort of soothsayer...?

maybe, just maybe, I'm ok with what he's saying, doing, or has done...

    how about that one...?

all I know is, the other choices out there suck, in my humble opinion...

Let's see: bush III, no thanks...

Or some guy who's run 5 times, who's only platform is Corporations Suck...

Yeah, I'm going to take my chances on someone who can draw a crowd of 200K in another country...

    Sorry...

The bottom line is do you think Iran is evil and wants to destroy the world like the pack of savage terrorist dogs they are made out to be, or do you think they are human beings like everyone else and can perhaps co-exist peacefully?

So, do you believe the hype?

that's fine. that's an entire other debate though. maybe you can answer my question then? how do you feel about obama's stance on Iran? do you agree/disagree? why/why not?

hmm... maybe if you took 10 minutes of your time to hear what Nader has to say, and I mean SERIOUSLY hear what he has to say, you'd be a bit more enlightened as to what his platform really is...

no need to apologize. you're only one of many people willing to hand over the key to the white house to a guy preaching bullshit. :)

I went one step ahead of them, and got to the crux.

That's what it boils down to from what I can see. How many other countries in the world see Iran as being hostile towards them in the future would be another good question in the mix.

    1. Innocent until proven guilty.

    2. I don't think it's good for any country to have nukes.

I thought Barak was supposedly different from "every leading politician" so to speak, and this was the main attraction from his avid supporters Vote for a change in policy they say...

    I'm just not seeing it.

It's one step forward...one step back.

This is so pathetic. Its like saying just because McCain likes beer, Obama has to hate beer or he doesn't stand for change. Somehow, they both can't like beer.

This is just as dumb as the ad blaming Senator Obama for high prices in gas.

At least Karl was cleaver, whomever is doing McCain's negative ads, suck bigtime. McCain supporters really stretch the bar to try and make people fall for this stupid shit.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

This makes no sense. First, no one here is a McCain supporter... second, the whole point is that Obama will bring a new change to many things, including foreign policy... so far, his platform has been the same as Bush's and McCain's... can you disprove that?
  • The funny thing is

"The nuclear program of Iran was launched in the 1950s with the help of the United States as part of the Atoms for Peace program.[1] The support, encouragement and participation of the United States and Western European governments in Iran's nuclear program continued until the 1979 Islamic revolution that toppled the Shah of Iran.[2]"

I agree with his stance to talk to them without preconditions...because diplomacy is paramount...in fact, Iran and the US are sitting and talking now...just like Obama suggested...

by the way, I have to ask, how do you know your boy is going to do what he says he's going to do...aren't you taking a chance..? can you predict the future...?

oh, of course. I don't know why anyone wouldn't realize that this isn't about Iran getting nukes... the U.S. KNOWS they aren't trying for nukes...

the U.S. isn't "talking" to Iran because Obama suggested it... Obama is still not taking military option off the table, he still called Iran's LEGAL nuclear program "illegal", is pushing for tougher sanctions against them... seriously, what's the difference between his stance and Bush's??
by the way, I have to ask, how do you know your boy is going to do what he says he's going to do...aren't you taking a chance..? can you predict the future...?
because Nader's previous actions and speeches give him credibility.

I doubt you seriously listened to what he has to say...
    thanks...
    anytime :p

This isn't about beer so much as it's about starting a war with a country over purposeful untruths...aka conscious lies.

He called Iran's energy program Illegal, which is progressing the continuance of military aggression towards them which will only lead to additional conflicts.
