Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I didn't expect you to be able to comprehend this depth of policy. All one can do is try to show what has actually happened beyond what the media shows.
None of it is speculation. It's all documented fact.
If you take the time and do the research you'll soon realize the same.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,

Many people react the way your admirer does because they are uncomfortable with the fact the US has done more to make the world the way it is today then any other country ever has. That goes for the good and the bad. The bad bits are pretty damn bad. So bad in fact that all the good is slowly being forgotten. does because they are uncomfortable with the fact the US has done more to make the world the way it is today then any other country ever has. Soon outside the US the only thing good people will say about the US is well at least there still is Pearl Jam.I hate quotations. Tell me what you know.

It's pretty telling when I try to point out issues that could perhaps move the country into a positive direction and all i get I get is hatred and resentment.
If that doesn't indicate what's up... well.....you know how that goes. Turn up the magnification on that situation and become wise to it.
It's no secret Iraq was a fabrication dating back well before 9/11. It's not a situation of speculation anymore.
