  • Im happy in the knowledge im the biggest fan in East Auckland aged 22 who lives on my road, no doubt bout that.
I havent seen Life Wasted on c4/juice (I dont watch em much due to the shit they play, I saw WWS tonight though) and gutted I missed the singles the Rock were giving out. They need to get Life Wasted on the radio asap, no point giving away the singles and not have it playing. It'll be even more popular than WWS I reckon, everyone who ive listened to it with loves it.
Its been 8 years, but I still believe...PJ in NZ 06!

lets not start conflict over who has the Pearl Jam title in their part of NZ, but hug trees instead...... ok no, dont go around doing that.... but still, sit back and rejoice in the knowledge that we'll all be in the first or second row..... and we're all friends..... but i can still drink you all under the table.

That does suck a whole lot...ill keep my eye on it anyway.
And as for being drunk under the table, everyone and his dog has done that to me so I call no contest. Are we all certain on who'd we give our second ten club seat to in Auckland? Coz I wouldnt have a clue.

Does anyone know if i can buy some ten club seats and gifted them to my brother as i wont be here for concert or does the ten club member have to pick up the tickets in person?

10c member who bought the tickets has to show picture ID to pick up the tickets.

  • I think I may be losing hope that PJ will be here. I just don't like the silence. Plus Split Enz canned the NZ leg out their tour casue of Vector.

Split Enz can kiss my ass for all I care. Wankers chose to do their first reunion show in Australia over NZ. If PJ ditch NZ this time round I swear i'll never give another dollar to anything PJ related EVER! We've waited long enough down here.

They definately owe you after just releasing their best work in several years, working really hard over the last 4 to make it. Seriously I cant believe people think they're owed everything, im just lucky I get to enjoy their music and it'll be unbelieveable if they come.
Sometimes I cringe to think they might read this board...

I personally dont think it was their best work. Good album but not their best work. I just think it's bullshit that they'll play all these Australian dates and not take any time for their NZ fans (granted they still might announce some NZ dates). Surely they could come up with an option other than Vector. U2, The Stones etc. did.
  • What I meant was I think its better than Binaural and Riot Act, so best for 8 years on that logic I guess.
I think the venue thing is a bit of bullshit too, seeing they're now playing festivals and they are pretty out of and aggressive GA crowds. Supertop sucks, I dunno bout Ericcson and how did Western Springs go for Rolling Stones? I wouldnt know..
Joe had the best answer, athletic track at Lloyd Elsmore in Howick..then to Basalt (bar up the rd) for Summer Ale. Cant beat that.

what about that new place up in Manukau?

I was on the hill at the back for the stones and it was fine. It just sucks that these bands that haven't been down here in ages wont come because of one stupid arena. I mean it's a longer trip from Sydney to Perth than it is from Sydney to NZ and they're still bloody playing Perth! They even played Perth last time!

    FUCK YOU PERTH!!! (lol)
