And keep in mind - this is on top of the $450B Budget (on the books budget that is) for "defense" and $140B appropriations for Iraq and Afghanistan coming soon.
Clusterfuck. But hey what is a $1TRILLION, 4000 US lives, countless Iraqi lives, and a whole new generation of jihadists....that can't be a bad thing!!!
Thanks Rummy, Cheney, W, Rice, Powell, Perle, Worsmer, Fleischer, AIPAC, the complicit and weak US Congress, and most especially...The idiot US populace for letting these ppl scare you into their PNAC geopolictical "experiment". Really the problem is when you have so much money that you can wake up and do whatever the fuck you want..
Think about it. buy a dozen mansions worth millions of dollars each. Buy a fleet of exotic cars....travel to the most exotic places around the world for the rest of your life...no expense spared. e everything...buy anything..and have millions to spare. Realistically you can't ever spend it all no matter what you do. The interest exceeds it. It's insane.
See....when you have this kind of money, you're not used to hearing no.....ever....ever. It fucks you up in the head.
What a disaster. We have a religious zealot lunatic like this, that just happens to be a president on top of it all.
A total disconnect with 80% of society.

NO NO NO!!
no more fucking money for this war. rumsfeld said "you go to war with the army you have, not the one you wish you had." why can't we say "you go to war with the money you have, and let us fund the things that you have promised the citizens would be funded?" we have the largest defense budget in the world, and it is still nowhere near enough. to me it seems like we are on offense, which we might very well be with iran very soon. this has to stop right now.
well, at the rate the gop members of congress are going down in shame, that troop pullout bill might eventually pass and override a veto.

Why don't the people of america stand up and do something about it!Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!
The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.0 -

they are too fat to stand up for anymore than 8 minutes...
but in all honesty its maybe time for some Vietnam style demonstrations from the people of the US... especially some hippy chicks with their jugs out and painted as daisies.. that always helps i feeloh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -

What are they going to do????
Approval polls for the war, Pres and Congress are below 25%. Democrats were elected to Congress on the platform of ending the war. They lied. The electorate tried. Do you want us to intiate a coup??? Because that is the ONLY way you will ever get Bush/Cheney to leave Iraq. Christ - read about the construction of the Embassy there - we are there forever.
Do you really think if EVERY LAST FREAKING CITIZEN of the US crammed into Wash DC and demanded an end to the war Bush would pull the troops??? Keep dreaming. He "doesnt govern by the polls" - which is a clever way of saying he ignores the will of the people.
We are there for the long term. And it has nothing to do with the enemy."Sean Hannity knows there is no greater threat to America today than Bill Clinton 15 years ago"- Stephen Colbert0 -

Doesn't sound much like a democracy to me. But hey we have known that for to long now.Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

a "coup" as you put it is exactly what the constitution calls for when shit gets to where it is now.
and if EVERY citizen were to march on D.C. it wouldn't be to "demand Bush",it would be to physically remove his ass from the oval office."In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. Normally when a presidents approval rate drops below 45% impeachment is soon on the horizon...

Well....Bush Sr is 83 yrs old now...chances are very good this guy only has a few years left to live.
I can only imagine the hoopla when that all goes down. All his assets should probably go back to into a public trust fund.Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
