Eddie one of the worst Seventh Inning Stretch Performers

My friend said that in honor of Tony Romo screwing up Take Me Out to the Ballgame Sportscenter had a top 10 countdown of the worst Seventh-inning stretch performers.

He said that Eddie was #7! Probably because of how drunk he was.

    Even worse, I think he actually just says "buy me some penis and crack" and holds the mic out for the crowd to say "er jacks."

    Ha! The funny thing is that Eddie actually won the online award for being the best 7th inning stretch singer that year (has Pearl Jam ever lost any online voting contest?). I believe that was the first year following Harry Carey's passing, and they had a bunch of celebs and singers come out in his honor. Now it's become another thing as lame as the Cubs themselves.

    The best was when Sportscenter was ending the guy asked the other "what one you like best?" and he Said back " I'm a Pearl Jam guy so I have to Go with Eddie Vedder!!"

    Will Ferrel throwing out the 1st pitch is great. He sets up and throws a pickoff throw to a vacant first base. Its great.
