Well, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what to do with a set like this

That site has a lot of weird stuff...0 -

Whoever stole it just shredded it. I found the remnants in a lane behind my house after I realized it was missing. It was my fault for not putting it away anyway. Damn beer and barbeque.

Well at least i beat you to it in the beat you to it post contest(see above)

Thank you. Still don't understand the game after reading the rules from another link in the link you posted. But this stuck out.
13 § It is forbidden to compete under the influence of spirits or drugs. You've changed your place in this world!0 -

Haha. Yup. That rule doesn't exist in Thunder Bay, I can assure you.
Officially, the name of the game is to score the most points in 5 rounds with each competitor getting 5 darts per round.
The way that my grandparents played (and therefore I play) is that you start on the outer ring (1) and work your way in. If I hit 2 7 8 1 3 with my first five darts, I get to shoot for rings 4 5 6 7 8 on my next turn. The first person to hit the bullseye on the proper turn wins. Pretty simple.1/12/1879, 4/8/1156, 2/6/1977, who gives a shit, ...0 -

Olen opiskelija Suomen.
wow, well done.
kyllä, asun Suomessa.
you mean you're studying Finnish or what? if so, it's "opiskelen Suomea" or "olen Suomen kielen opiskelija."
but I'm impressed."Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0 -

Yes, I'm studying Finnish, because I'm in hopes of going to the Helsingin Yliopisto for schooling.
wow, that's really cool.how did you come to pick Finnish? you know, there are less difficult languages out there.
no, I'm really happily surprised with the fact you picked Finnish."Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0 -
after a couple of days of drying my tears...finland blanked canada 5-0 in the men's world hockey championships to win the bronze the other day...
my two favourite teams going at it and i think it's obvious who my favourite is...EH?
couldn't have lost to a finer team, though.

I've been meaning to send you a PM to congratulate you on a good game.but I've always forgot.
your favourite? Finland of course!cause we're such nice people.
your team was really good. but ours just was better.I enjoyed both of the games Finland had against Canada.
so yes, I did watch them.
thanks mooks, very nice of you."Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0 -

I don't quite have enough money to go to school here in the states, so I thought Finland would be a good experience. Plus I love learning languages and the Finnish language, although very difficult is fun and exciting at the same time.
really? that's cool.
nice to hear you're enjoying learning our language. I'll also be happy to help you out with it if I can.yeah, our schooling systems are very different aren't they? I'm not entirely sure about the meaning of tuition though..

Hi eMMI, since a while I see this post and read through it here and then.
But now the day came, when I have a question about Finland.
Did you see the European song contest?
What does your folk say about the winning of LORDI with
HARD ROCK HALLELUJA!!!
I thought it is soooo extremely funny and I loved the fact that the only rock song won, but of course our press is all over your country now, saying it is a shame that such a band is winning this contest.
ahh, wtf, but well,
any thoughts on this...I am sure it will make me smile even more

tee hee, I did see the Eurovision. this year I watched it for the first time in years!
lol. well, the folk says all kinds of things.first, when it became announced that we were, in fact, going to send Lordi as our representative people were shocked.
"no no, we can't do that, they will think we worship the satan!!"
there was all kinds of fuss.
"we will be humiliated, we can never win, we can't even get to the finals"
someone pleaded for the president to stop this nonsense.
then the people putting the Eurovision together said it's a disgrace to let a satan worshipping band perform and participate. (you don't wanna get me started on how far Lordi is from worshipping the satan!!)
and then it happened, we won.
*shock*
and now most of the Finns are happy and proud.
"I knew we would win it! I knew it all along." (yeah right. )
many older men and women support the band with a smile on their face. people had huge parties in Helsinki (the capital) and in Rovaniemi (that's where Lordi's from) to celebrate the victory.
everyone's gone nuts!
lol. I'm a little tired now so that's all I've got for now. I might get back to this tomorrow."Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! thanks so much for your immediate response.
you made it, I am still laughing out load, so much!
funny Finns!
You were so needed around this boaring contest! And as I said, I am so happy that a rock song won.
I, of course, did never assume that they would worship satan or so.
The front singer looks so nice without his costume but with his glasses on.
how could ppl assume anythin bad ?
have a good rest and a good night sleep,
and be sure, if there is more to come tomorrow
I will be happy to read more, coming from you.
later
and good nightthere is no way to peace, peace is the way!

lol. no problem, I had to attack it before I forgot what I wanted to say:
very kind words from you. I'm glad you found that amusing.
I'm off to focus on other topics for a while now but maybe later.
btw. I did get a good rest, thanks."Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0 -
Hey eMMI... nice thread!!! always good to learn anything new about other cultures and other countries...
So my question is... since you are here on this message board of PJ.. i bet that you are a big fan of them... so how do you feel, since if I´m correct PJ only gave one show there in 1993... and after that... not one single show??"Vocês são do caralho" Eddie Vedder : Lisbon, 04/09/2006 - best day of my life0 -

hey, thank you!
lol. well guessed.indeed, PJ is my favourite band of all times!!
yeah, as far as I know they've only done one show here. and back then, I had never heard of them since I was very little, 6-7 years old.
and on this tour, no shows (but we're still hoping for the another tour they've "promised"), which bummed me out big time!but I can understand it, cause the chedule is very intense as it already is.
I have no clue about how many fans are there in Finland, I certainly do not know even one! so I dunno, that can have an effect..
of course I'm bummed about the fact that at least in the near future I won't be able to see my fave band live but then again.. I haven't been a fan of PJ's for that long (it took me a while to discover them) and there are a lot of people who have waited for longer than me.
I know my time will come someday and I'm not about to give in.
hope that's good enough, I might add something later but I'm in a hurry now."Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0
