a sad day for comedians.

after 16 years of clowns like Bush Jr. and Clinton, its gonna be tough for comedians to come up with something funny about Obama, and do it without being called a racist. the guy doing Obama on SNL kinda sucks.

i weep for the future of shows like Daily Show. :(

    Liberal whiney-butts like Jon Stewart and Tina Fey are going to have a hard time maintaining their popularity for sure. Jokes -- or jokes that won't get people fired -- are going to be hard to come by for the others
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    South Park was pretty damn funny the other night then again Matt Parker and Trey Stone aren't liberals and have no problem poking fun at them.

    yeah but he's just not funny. kinda like Gore and Kerry. stiff. we'll see. maybe he will screw something up. one can hope!

    oh one other thing. i saw dozens of photoshopped pics of Bush as a monkey over the years. i wonder if we will see any Obama monkey pics. i kinda doubt it :)

    Bill Maher touched on this on his show. I believe it was in the "new rules" segment. He was basically begging comedians to quit being so touchy about race jokes and Obama, and begging Obama to give comedians something to work with.

    comedians will always find something funny which normal folks might consider mundane... give em time... comedy isnt always about taking the piss out of mistakes, there's a lot of material to be garnered from Obama..
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    the daily show hasn't had any problems so far

    i liked when at the dnc john oliver told the obama supporters he seemed all soundbyte and no substance :D

    It blows my mind. How comedians gotta be careful, about the jokes they make about Obama. But any joke on Clinton or W. Is ok cuz there white. Such a double standard and very unfair.

    I'm interested to see what The Simpsons is going to do now. They made a ton of fun of Bush Sr. and Clinton, but couldn't do anything with George W. (either out of fear or because they're controlled by Rupert Murdoch). It's interesting to contemplate what they may do with Obama.
