The bottom line is do you think Iran is evil and wants to destroy the world like the pack of savage terrorist dogs they are made out to be, or do you think they are human beings like everyone else and can perhaps co-exist peacefully?

So, do you believe the hype?

you answer my questions with real answers first... and then i will happily and easily answer yours...

    1. Do you believe that Iran truly has no interest in Nuclear weapon capablilties, and are being totally honest about their intentions that they are only in pursuit of nuclear energy and not weapons

    2. What do you think about a nuclear armed Iran? good thing, bad thing, or indifferent?

So because they have more oil than they can spend they're denied the right to have nuclear energy?

    add :
3 - If Iran truly has no interest in nuclear weapons why have they repeatedly refused to go under the AIEA regulations and/or recieve technological help and surveillance from Europe and the US?

Iran has allowed IAEA inspections several times-- more times than any other country, actually. All these inspections and "regulations" (most of which Iran HAS followed) infringe on Iran's sovereign right. They signed the NPT and have the right to find nuclear energy on their own. They don't need/don't want to be dependent on foreign help for their own nuclear research. They want to do it on their own, and they have every right to do so.

They might seek to have them if other countries that have them keep on slapping them around.

A nuclear armed anything is bad, however if they are going to have them they will have them with or without the US bombing them, one situation will be amicable, the other will definitely not.

I'm not claiming you said that. I'm responding to what you said with my own response. However, it certainly does seem that most Obama supporters defend his stance on Iran, and even justify it... how do you feel about his stance on Iran?

You sure like to read into things that are not there.

Who and what gives you the right to deny anyone of anything that hasn't lifted a finger towards you, but rather quite the opposite has happened the other way around?

...and then tell me you're not being a hypocrite afterwards.

...and you just lumped all those people together? Did your brown person alarm go off or something?

    exactly.

If they were to go the route of nuclear arms, which, so far, there has been no proof of, then the only reason they would seek to have it is because the countries WITH nuclear arms right now are also the countries that have shitty foreign policy, and start wars (both political and military).

If the U.S. were to change its foreign policy and start moving towards more peaceful solutions, then maybe diplomatic relations with Iran wouldn't be so tough, and they'd be more open to us.

At this point, I'd like to nod approvingly... perhaps even sagely.

Some of my favorite, poetic lyrics. Some of the best I have ever read/heard. I think a lot of us have been there before.........

    Skyline Pigeon

Turn me loose from your hands
Let me fly to distant lands
Over green fields, trees and mountains
    Flowers and forest fountains
Home along the lanes of the skyway

For this dark and lonely room
Projects a shadow cast in gloom
    And my eyes are mirrors
    Of the world outside
    Thinking of the way
That the wind can turn the tide
    And these shadows turn
    From purple into grey

    For just a Skyline Pigeon
    Dreaming of the open
    Waiting for the day
    He can spread his wings
    And fly away again
    Fly away skyline pigeon fly
    Towards the dreams
You've left so very far behind

Just let me wake up in the morning
To the smell of new mown hay
To laugh and cry, to live and die
In the brightness of my day

I want to hear the pealing bells
    Of distant churches sing
But most of all please free me
    From this aching metal ring
And open out this cage towards the sun
