Be forced to apologize to the three white Duke Lacrosse players, whom they both accused, condemned and ruined their lives; before there was a real investigation, evidence and a trial?

When can I expect that to happen?

Sometime around the next Ice Age cycle or when the Federal Government apologizes for the "Reconstruction" of the South or when Wooly Mammoths once again run unabated across our prairies. :D

right, because chris rock would have been in a conversation about these "jigaboos" (producer's word) that would lead him to try to be funny by calling them "nappy-headed hos".

    ??

for starters, chris rock has a sense of humor...

did imus deserve to lose his show?
it was the decision of the free market.

I don't understand your comment. had imus said jigaboos i find that word offensive and not comical at all.. however nappy and ho have comical undertones and are frequently used in black comedy. imus may not be labeled a comedian per say but his show does have a sprinkling of comedy mixed in. and your average black man with a sense of humor that hears this nappy headed himself by the way... old white man say it on the air..somewhere someplace there was a black guy with a sense of humor listening and chuckling when that comment was made.

    I don't.

Why do you hate white people so much?

Why do you support and defend racist and discriminatory double-standards?

Why do you lack the courage to identify and acknowledge racism and discrimination from certain, specific elements in the black community, but have no problem identifying and acknowledging rascism and discrimination within certain and specific elements in the white community?

That's a discriminatory comment targeting a senior citizen, based on his physical appearance.

Why is okay for you to insult and denigrate a senior citizen based on his physical appearance?

They will apologize whn the media starts up a shit storm about it. Fortunate for them Karl Rove misplaced an e-mail, so now the media can focus on that.

Make that millions of emails, lol.

Many people were upset about those kids not just black people. Unfortunately the DA decided to put his reelection above those kids lives.

I can't really say anything bad about the DA because I was one of the people who where quick to judge these kids. I'm ashamed to say but in my mind I had these kids convicted already. It wasn't until more evidence start coming out that start proving their innocence that I started to change my mind. So to me I'm no better than the DA.

    Context.
Parents can punish and criticize their children in ways they would never allow someone else to.
Football fans can make fun of their home team in ways that would start a fight if the visiting team's fans said the same things.
Nancy Pelosi defended George Bush after Hugo Chavez said things many of Pelosi's constituents say on a daily basis.

In certain contexts, some people can say and do things that others simply cannot without looking like an asshole. Imus found that out.

Al Sharpton first became famous for his support of a black girl in Connecticut who accused a white lawyer of raping her and beating her. She was found in a dumpster covered in dog shit and claimed the white guy did it to her. He was arrested, lost his job, his wife and was disbarred. A year later the girl admitted she lied about the whole thing because she did not want to get in trouble for being out late with her boyfriend.

Did Al Sharpton apologize? No. Nobody did.

He will never apologize and no one will question him because they are afraid of losing their jobs.

This could be said of a million situations with a million different people.

Many people supported the war with the false claims against Iraq. Do they apologize? After all, the people in charge had more information than the public did (like the DA did with the lacrose players) yet decided to go forward anyway.

Many people want to kill these people who are held at Guantanamo even though they haven't been proven guilty and have been held for year after year. When are all of the radio guys who preach about how they are all terrorists going to apologize?

He single handedly ruined that guys life and played a large roll in branding these Duke players with a label of possible rapist that they will carry for the rest of their lives. It just seems too personal not to have to apologize to these people in my opinion.
