most likely there will be no clear winner, which will be a huge win for Obama I think. Anything that doesn't stop Johnbo's slide is an Obama win.

Did McCain just refer to Obama as "that one"?

He also knows Obama could NEVER go there and he knows he can and not many will even bat an eye. Some may even laugh no respect being shown there.

However atleast he is taking a look at him tonight.

I've decided there is never a clear winner to these things. Whoever you like coming in, you like coming out.

    Here's what I don't like about Obama's health plan:

"If you already have health coverage, you can keep yours ..."

Well, thanks. I get mine through my company. You think my company is going to continue to pay for health benefits when the government is giving it away for free?

Uh, no. They are going to see it as a prime way to cut costs, and out it goes.

So I'm going to end up with some crappy government plan wherein I get to wait in line for six days in order to get my massive head wound sewn up. But, hey, it's free!

well, it's a recuiting tool for companies ... no doubt, believe me, healthcare is VERY important when looking for a job.

I just realized, I'm 40, and have had 5 jobs in my life, and have never not had healthcare....I can imagine not having it.

what Obama should say about healthcare and the government, the government managing your healthcard means you get the treatment you need, where under Johnbo's plan, the HMO's can still keep you from getting the care you need because it effects their bottom line.

If I remember right, medicaid only has a 5% overhead to run, far better than any HMO.

I know you've predicted a McCain win this whole time ... but there's no way. It's just not happening, as much as I would like for that to happen.

The country just seems to want a Democrat, any Democrat, in the White House this time around. That seems to be the m.o. in times of bad economy: Throw out whoever is in charge.

I don't really see anyway McCain wins this election, save Obama -- as the saying goes -- being caught with a dead woman or a live boy.
You do have to admit the financial strategy of past admin. didn't work.

we agree on folks doing what they want to do...and see what they want to see, so don't count out McCain.

There will be no free government health care under Obama's plan:

    http://www.barackobama.com/issues/healthcare/

"Establish a National Health Insurance Exchange with a range of private insurance options as well as a new public plan based on benefits available to members of Congress that will allow individuals and small businesses to buy affordable health coverage."

You will have the ability to buy an affordable program from the government. It will not be free.
