I think there's a lot more to it than that.
Honestly I dn't want to get into it with you on the details of that day.
Basically, where I'm at with it is that I don't think the fire from the jet fuel had anything to do with the buildings coming down. I'm 50/50 on the structural damage alone being the cause of the collapse(s).
Officially, the fire played a role in the buildings collapsing. I don't see it.

I dont disagree for a second that its possible the buildings 100% came down from those planes. and the damage of the planes alone. 100% possible, even probable.
but its just simple common sense that the heat from the fire, burning for a few hours, had weaken those columns. no one can debate that scientific fact that fire does indeed, weaken steel.
you only seem to be holding back because the government said it happened. maybe that got that one right this time? fire weakens steel.
not to mention the incredible weight of the towers. it was the largest concrete structure in the world at the time.

I only disagree with you that the fire had anything to do with it. I don't disagree because the government says it is so. If you look at the history of steel girdered buildings catching on fire you will see that fire has never had an impact on the structural integrity of the building. Now a lot of people, at this point, are going to say, "Well, it's jet fuel, dummy. It's super hot." It burns a little hotter, sure, but in the case of WTC the bulk of the fuel was burned up in the first moments of the impact. Anything burning after that was lighter fuel quality burn (and anything else that caught on fire), and that doesn't have any true impact on the structure of steel.

Think about it. What is your grill made of? How many years of lighter fluid and flame and heat does it take? Steel beams are made of the same stuff.

thats a clever example but think of the difference. a grill fire burns between 350 and 450 degrees? for a relatively short period of time. the fire gets cooler with time unless more and more coals are added.
the WTC was extremely hotter temps for a longer period of time.
and, most importantly, that grill is barring ZERO weight (except that 8 ounce filet ). take that same grill and balance a car on it and see how long the fire has to burn before the grill starts to bend. 0 -
