  • Here's how tired I was last night: instead of "dumb", I wrote "dump". Not only is that embarrassing, considering I said I "dump-you-up", it's sorta disgusting. :p

See, it's nice to be able to give you some of my gifts, as well! :D Treasure them. :p

Don't waste your gifts on me - I'm irrelevant, apparently. :D

Yet you are in a handful of people's sigs based on your inspirational contributions. Hmmmm

I think I'm on a 4:1 ratio of articles published to articles about me. I just need to start combining the two in a delicious Machiavellian scheme. :D

What's funny is you always bitch about the mainstream media and yet you are using their word (not an actual tax return for them to verify either) to try to make your argument. Golden.

i don't think i ever bitched about the usa today, actually it's reported things very few others would like someone in the administration was involved in the oil for food scandal

Greg Kafoury would be an asset at every Nader rally. He is formidable. Totally sweet too.

It would be fun to observe him handle Nader haters.

How did you reach this conclusion?

his platform is based on being "anti-corporation"...

to me, he blames all the ills of the US on corporations...it's his shtick...his leanings, for me, seem to be very much on the left...thus my view of him being a polarizing figure...

As for being an opportunist, as we've discussed before, he seems to show up every four years and say: "here I am, vote for me, I'll fight for you against those evil corporations"...rather than starting small, perhaps a house or senate run...where, if elected, he could introduce specific changes...

a simple search would find tons of links showing nader is active pretty much 24/7, not just every 4 years when the media reports on him in a big way

Kucinich would be a close second but I'm writing in Paul. If Texas becomes competitive then i'd be willing to consider voting for Obama but I'll come to that decision later obviously.

how is it possible that you can vote for Obama when who you want to vote for is opposite of Obama is almost everything except one thing the war. and there are times that i don't even believe they agree on that. this is what i don't get. can you please explain to me why you would vote for Obama (is it the lesser of 2 evils crap again)

Which should answer their question of 'why run for president and not some other office? Well shit, because you guys, who are all poltically aware even, don't even seem to be aware that Nader's out there pushing these same causes every year. You still keep posting the same old 'just shows up every 4 years' bullshit....even after links have been provided on numerous occasions debunking this. Is it any wonder he runs for president? I'm starting to think some of you wouldn't know who he was and what he is fighting for without him doing just that!!

so going back to the point of this tread. my breaking point is during the debates. it is easy to give a great speech when your not challenged let me see what you can do when you are challenged. and before anyone Attacks me i don't just mean just Obama.

as for Nader, i like him but i wonder if he can change anything becuase i still believe that the USA is not as liberal as people here think it is. i think that nothing would change with him. but i will say the same thing abotu Obama and McCain.

Exactly! I don't see things changing with the other guys...so the least I can do is vote for the one represents the things that I agree with.

And america polls as supporting UHC, a decreased military budget, a crackdown on corporate crime and welfare....And yes, these are polls but they are the same polls telling these folks Nader has no chance of winning and they seem to be eating those up so....

ok, fine...you win, ralph's out there 24/7...sadly, no one seems to take notice...I'm sure the media will be blamed for that...anyhoo, I concede, he's out there fighting....like falwell and bucannan...

how about my point that ralph solely bases his platform on being the anti-corporate candidate....? which puts him very very very left...thus a polarizing figure....
