has opened our borders and allowed mexican truck drivers access to all our highways and roads in the U.S.A.......

    well........

    will AMERICAN truck drivers now be competing with Mexican truck drivers for loads of freight????

    or is the mexican driver just bringing his freight out of mexico to its destination and returning back to mexico????

    i need to do my homework here.....

    I need a link, for one thing. Besides, haven't our borders always been open to this? Canadian freight comes and goes in droves here where I live.

    I am......I answered the question. I know that you are a truck driver, so this is an important issue to you. There are a lot of questions to this potential issue...such as are Mexican truck drivers going to be subject to the same DOT rules that you are required to obey? Can they drive 36 hours straight and not be in violation of the law? Then there is the question of the money.

    well.....like i said i need to do a little more home work here.....

    well....

    are 10,000 non US. citizens about to enter the trucking industry???
    or is it 20,000???? or is it just a couple thousand???

    whats that gonna do for wages in the trucking industry???

    i have a feeling these workers will be more than happy to work for HALF of what the average trucker in america is making......

    will they have to become US. citizens in order to work here???

    i just have a lot of questions.........
