    Someone hurling insults and hatred in my general direction and being rude about it is something that I don't often find funny. I also do not consider my choice of both home and belief to be a character weakness on my part. Besides, the political spectrum in this country is populated by fruitcakes along its entire length.

    P.S. Ohio is in the north. In no way does the South wish to make any claim on that part of the country.

    He wasn't abusing the drugs, he probably had a prescription for them.

    Truth hurting? ;) I thought Hitler was muttering something about the Black Forest when he was talking about the south. Maybe there was another meaning?

    i said ohio is in the north but its values and politics are more akin to the south than to massachusetts. we signed the strong anti-gay marriage constitutional amendment in the country. you'd love it here ;)

    anyway, my point being hitler was crazy and wanted to do oppress anyone who didnt think or act like him. there are a lot of nutty people in this country wanting to do the same. only reason the southern baptists scare me more is the people on the left are too stoned to actually do anything about it.

    True, he was a complete whack job. True, there are a lot of nutty people worldwide wanting to do the same thing. As to the Southern Baptists, the same could be said of the Mormons, The Jehovah Witnesses and the Roman Catholics. It's just that the Southern Baptists/fundamentalist protestants get all of the press (squeaky wheel syndrome). I also believe that there are folks on the left side of the spectrum who are not stoned all of the time. I watch them with just as much as caution as I watch those on the right. Because when comes down to it, this type of cultural imperialism is just wrong. As someone who has never smoked the dope, I did find your "stoned" comment quite amusing.
