    This is what a lot of people so ignorantly (defiantly?) miss when they try to explain this away as Bush just being confused between the first and second hits.

    This is more than just mixing up the information. This is a constructed lie.

    Footage of the first plane caught by amateur vid was not made available to news media until the next day.

    Bush was in the class when he was informed of the second hit.

    He saw no such thing. He saw no plane hit any tower on TV, let alone the first one.

    Impossibility.....and yes...liar.

    He says stuff after the fact, after the most horrific and tramatic attack on US soil, while he's in his first year of presidency and he mis-speaks? Big fucking deal.

    Also news reports of WTC7 collapsing on the news as it was still standing is absolutely inescapable evidence of an inside job. People need to wake up to this fact. It was also not just a mistake or gaff. The reporters read the teleprompters. This was scripted news dialogue given to the reporter to convey.

    Still people choose to make excuse after excuse to rationalize.

    There's no more excuses...none left...sorry.

    Stop brainwashing yourselves that this was not a cover up.

    The educated professionals in society all seem to see it.

    Hello Pot...this is the kettle speaking.

    DC if it were a democrat in the white house you republicans would be saying the same thing (maybe not u personally...but republican supporters out there). Clinton was impeached for lying about a fuckin blow job...but many Americans are prepared to excuse Bush for lying about the worst attack in US History and the reasons your brave troops are over there risking their lives day after day.

    I don't doubt if it were a Dem in the house that the Republican's would be smelling blood. Both sides are fucking idiotic in that regard. As for Clinton,

    Watching the video, all he said was the he saw the first plane hit on tv... it was probably just a worded wrong (he does that enough). If I happen to see a sports score on the bottom of a tv screen and the next day someone asks me what the yankees did last night, I would probably say "I saw on tv that they lost" or whatever.... it doesn't mean that I actually watched any of the game.

    I can't stand Bush at all, he is probably one of the VERY few people in this world that I can say that I hate, but who cares if he misspoke about it. Even if he thinks that he actually saw the plane hitting the tower, I've had friends of mine that swore they saw the first plane hit on TV, people remember what they want to remember.

    This is what bothers me about the 9/11 conspiracies... they make huge issues out of EVERYTHING... even the most minuscule things. It becomes a boy who cried wolf thing. The good points or the things that should raise suspicion get lost in the mess of all this trivial shit.

    honestly, this is way too easy...

    he didnt say he literally saw the plane hit the building... the news was covering it nationally almost as soon as it happened... he is probably refering to "seeing it" being reported, as opposed to seeing the plane literally hit... i knew the tower had been hit, becuase every channel in this country was reporting on it... IMO

    That's very possible. I'm ashamed to admit that because of all the other evidence that it was an inside job I hadn't even considered that. But it's very possible, and maybe even likely.

    According to the impact timeline (if you're privy to it) what he is saying is totally impossible. Unless, like Ahnimus mentioned, he had his own private live video feed piped into the school pointed directly at tower 1 waiting to see the first plane impact. And why would he have that all set up out of the blue?

    He was sitting down reading the book with the kids at the time of impact #2.

    So yeah he's lying, or his memory lives in another dimension.

    But Roland, you need to consider the post from my2hands. It's very possible that he meant to say "I saw THAT an airplane hit the tower." I'm 100% convinced this was an inside job. But looking at it that way, I don't think this statement is even close to the smoking gun. It's way too easy anyway, in a million different ways. I just don't think this is the incriminating evidence.

    I agree it may not have been in the literal sense. He's so dense though he could have been saying anything really...some childhood flashback to playing with toy airplanes in the backyard....who knows....half the time I'm sure he doesn't.

    I'll chalk it up to never rely on what comes out of his mouth :D

    Has nothing to do with it. You're off topic. This thread was NOT about the Iraq war and what is going on there now. This thread was about a conspiracy to 9/11, which I was speaking to.

    If you feel Bush knew and planned 9/11 and it was all a part of a masterplan to get us into Iraq, then so be it.

    But be careful when you say " why give a shit, it's not you" and all of that type of stuff - I'm happy to debate , discuss , argue ( respectfully) why my position is what it is, but you start using the " you're not in the war, so it's easy for you to talk about it " crap - then you've lost any chance at such a dialogue - you don't know anything about me - so keep it to issues if you would , please.
