the band, its fans, and its fanclub has been around for 15 or so years and counting. a lot of us have kids. heck, some of us might even be grandparents. should these numbers be passed along?
thoughts? GO!

Why wait to inherit? I was going to get my daughter a membership when she was born, but I figured I'd wait to see if she liked the band too. She does, so I got her one of her own.0 -
It wouldn't be too hard. Just make sure you let your kids know your username, password, and number. I don't see why they can't just keep renewing the membership and reaping the benefits.I'm trying to drink away the part of the day I cannot sleep away...0

But the best advantage to having a low number, rather than just buying a brand new membership is ticket seniority. Unless your kid has the exact same name as you how would your kid pick up tickets at the will call booth if you are not there. Personally if you can't transfer tenclub tickets (which it typically says when the do a 10club sale)then I don't think you should be allowed to transfer membership numbers, even for inheritance. If you allow that you might as well let people sell there numbers. Plus if you allow number transferring no one with a number in the 400,000 is ever going to get anything better.0 -

If this were an ongoing sports franchise, I could see this as a concern, but the life of the band is finite!0 -
no, no, no! absolutely not! i think it would be way UNFAIR to other members. memberships of ANY kind, not just 10c, should not be allowed to be passed on like a commodity to be bought and sold. once the initial person drops their membership, is deceased, whatever...the membership # ceases as well. many other people *deserve* a shot to move up in the queue, get closer to those ever coveted front rows.
besides, let's be practical. the band are all in their 40s, even if they continue onwards a la the rolling stones.....even playing into their 60s, even most 'older' 10c members would still be around to utilize their own memberships so the idea of passing it on really doesn't make sense in any case.Stay with me...

exactly. so all the MORE reason not to allow sales and/or inheritance of #s. anyone with a # right now, SHOULD have whatever slim chance of 'moving up' in the 10c queue for seating at shows, thus any chances to infringe on that...by selling your #, giving your # to your kid/beneficiaries = no good. obviously in the scheme of things, not a concern...but since the OP brought it up as a topic to discuss, there it is.Stay with me...
