?? Marymoor Park?
Well, anywhere around Seattle is nice. And Marymoor's 15 mins from my house, even better. Hope to see some fellow PJ fans there!

Its where we used to hang out when the band was out of town.;)
But it was pretty skanky then, maybe they put in new carpet. You must be the change you want to see in the world

I grew up on the eastside ( of Lake Washington ) & after I got out of high school we had many good times at Marymoor.
One of my friends even got married there. ( I went for the Arboretum )
Baseball games as soon as it was light after staying up all night, parties on the slough- but every time I go there I tear up, because it reminds me of a good friend, who drowned in Lake Sammamish a long time ago.
I still really miss him.
He loved rock music ( he was a tech for Rail, a popular band when Mike was in school)
There is a activity field in his honor.
Peter McNair activity field
But it is a great park & nice place for a birthday party. You must be the change you want to see in the world

Not that I've heard, I did hear Kim Thayil will be there though.
Here's a nice little nugget from the Sub-pop site:
Day Two’s festivities also begin at noon, and you want to make sure not to miss The Ruby Suns, Grand Archives, Kinski, Foals, Les Thugs, No Age, Red Red Meat, Comets on Fire, Beachwood Sparks, Green River, Wolf Parade and one, maybe two bands we’re not allowed to announce.NERDS!0 -
, maybe two bands we’re not allowed to announce.
The Shins maybe? although I think now they are on their own label. You must be the change you want to see in the world

I think it'll be the Shins or Sleater-Kinney. I heard Kim Thayil will be making an appearance as well.NERDS!0 -
oh I guess the Shins were leaked already in May.

OK. I'm a loser. I waited to the last minute to decide to go to this. I got a ticket for Sunday but it appears that tickets for Saturday are sold out. I'm flying in from Ohio just for one day?! Can't be. Does any one have an extra ticket for Saturday that they'd be willing to sell to a fellow jammer? Please!! Getting desperate here. PM me if you can help.
I also have a room at the Redmond Inn just next door to the venue for Friday and Saturday night (although I'm getting in after midnight Friday) that I can split with someone if interested. Or trade room for a Saturday ticket....And he who forgets will be destined to remember.
...I swear I never took it for granted. Just thought of it now.0
