    only you cannot, becos she never said it was no longer a part of our culture, just that it is no longer dominant. you cannot assume that. over half of marriages end in divorce. that's just the women getting married. simple statistics and common sense will tell you the number of women who marry a man and stay with him raising his children until death is now a minority.

    what do you propose? do you advocate abstinence-only sex education? do you think her idea of making contraception easily available is a bad idea?

    yes, most americans are that dumb and dont know about removing the air before application so it doesn't burst. they dont know what kinds of lubricants will destroy its effectiveness.

    you say you've used condoms... you've had sex outside marriage then? isn't that immoral? how come you're allowed to and others aren't?

    People that want contraceptions already want sex, it's already on their mind. No one sees contraceptions and suddenly says 'Gee, I think sex would be a good idea right now.' They make sex safer. They don't create the urge, that's nature. You can't stop natural urges and sexual activity all you can do is make it safer and lessen the problems that arrive from it. It's just ridiculous to try to restrict helpful information and knowledge....but what should we expect from the same groups that promote burning books and music.

    I'm in Belgium. I can't actually say if it's the norm here but I went to three different schools and they all had at some point information days about sex (not necessarily for every year). My friends who went to different schools also had similar days in their school.

    They did about drugs too. An ex-junkie came to talk about his struggle with heroin. And afterwards a doctor was ready to answer all kinds of questions about drugs. They talked about the dangers, the health risks, the impact drugs can have on your life and the lives of your family members and what goes on in your brain when you take drugs, they also gave information about the drugs laws.

    the reason Christianity promotes children and is against contraceptives and abortions is the population race.....especially geared towards Muslims. As to an earlier post of yours...whats really wrong with having Rosie couples with children??? I mean really.

    i'm sure "some" Christians are. i'm also sure "some" non-christians are as well.
    i think maybe the catholic church may have at some point taken an anti-contraception stance, but the majority of Christians around the world are not catholic (this is not a catholic smear).
