    I was at that show, and they said he was coming but had a family emergency. Still a great show.

    I thought that was going to happen because Body of War was premiering, but i think i remember seeing in another thread that Ed was taking care of an ailing family member during the same time(?)

    Didn't know it made the news though. I was on vacation anyway so that would have really sucked if I missed that.

    There are also strong rumors that Neil Young will be a ACL festival. Could you imagine? A solo show by Ed, Neil Young, and a Pearl Jam set!

    Well guys, shafted again on this leg of the tour, but if the dates listed below me are accurate (that is, Pearl Jam does schedule for that day, I don't doubt his credibility) then it can pretty much be assumed that they will play ACL as well, since it starts the day after the date listed.
    My god its been so long, never dreamed we'd return.

    It's because it's a few days before ACL, and the rumor mill about them headlining was already in full force, it would seem like too much of a coincidence. Unless the Dallas date is completely made up, it seems like they would combine a Dallas & Austin gig on the same leg.

    The rumored Dallas show would be the day before ACL starts. So, in theory, they could do the Dallas show, do a taping of the ACL tv show in one of the next 2 days, and headline on Sunday.

    ACL has not officially been confirmed, but someone talked to Mike on here and He said they were playing this year. It is the weekend right after the Dallas date pending.The same promoters for Lolla, are the same promoters for ACL as well. Someone asked the promoter or who works for them if pj was playing, and according to the board poster, they asked PJ, but are still awaiting confirmation.

    Assuming pj takes the Sunday night Headline slot at ACL, Hopefully they will play Houston that Friday or Saturday.

    Nooooo! I want them to play Houston/SA after ACL Fest. Don't make me choose between Fri & Sat ACL and PJ!

    i need a good excuse to miss ACL again this year. would much rather spend the near $200 for a festival ticket on multiple shows around the state.
