    I was at the show, and my wife and I had to cringe a bit because we are big White Sox fans. But of course we chimed in with the singing, it was in good fun, and most of my friends are Cubs fans, so we sang it for them.

    And just because Eddie is a Cubs fan just goes to show that nobody's perfect.

    Wish the rest of the show was going to be made available, ...what a night!

    Thanks. I always thought the cubs referred to with eddie was something to do with kids, like a kids baseball team. I was probably thinking of boy scout cubs or something!

    I heard it on the radio today. It's not the Vic version. I have the Vic version and in that one he stops playing in the middle. This must be from one of the Auditorium theatre shows. I hope they have the story he told prior to the song on the single- it was great.
    There's a request- "C'mon, just sing." If you say please, maybe. You make me feel cheap.
