yeah, guys too! It's quite the phenomonen (?) tired and got RSI sorry!

It freaks me out too! Like I said, I don't have an accent!! :D But folks around here seem to think I do. It's most disconcerting!

BUT Please, please, please scott don't go the way of the Dundee!!! :)

We like you just the way you are, no need for that crap!! :)

What folks? Why don't you have an accent? Where are you? I'm confused.

I found that I had to make a concious effort to tone my accent down when I was in america, otherwise nobody could understand what I was saying. I am a bit Dundee on the inside. . . I grew up in the bush. Not in croc country though. I only wrestled snakes and goannas as a kid.
It doesn't matter if you're male, female, or confused; black, white, brown, red, green, yellow; gay, lesbian; redneck cop, stoned; ugly; military style, doggy style; fat, rich or poor; vegetarian or cannibal; bum, hippie, virgin; famous or drunk-you're either an asshole or you're not!

Never heard of it. Where did you read this?

In the middle of the continent would be a pretty bad place to put it really. Lots of flat ground and sun for sure, but you'd have to get the electricity to the major population centres, which are all on the coast, mostly the east coast.

I thought it was down toward the bottom of the centre scott. Not that I have any real clue, I just thought toward Adelaide, but I could be blowing wind out my ass. Memory's not great! :)
    NOPE!!!

Steve!! Steve!! Is that you??? :D:D:D Nah, kidding!! ;) That sounds really cool scott! I meant in a "run off and leave your wife for the younger American woman" sense, don't be wanting to be Dundee. :) I'm still shitty on Hoges for that! Pathetic I know!! ;) But he's cool enough. Still love Arthur Donger!! :D
Good on ya bush basher! :) I spent some time in the bush myself as a teenager. Although probably not what you would call real bush. But state forest here in Victoria, which is where I am btw. In Melbourne. And I have been told on more than one occassion on here by Americans that I must have a "cute Ossie accent" which cracks me up because we don't have the accent the Americans do!! ;) And I do like to tell them so!! :D:D
We speak just fine and normal as far as I can see!! Although when I was in Europe I did notice how crude and loud some of our vowels are and I also found myself speaking much quieter and slower just to stop from sounding like Kath n Kim!! :) So no more confusion now? All cleared up? :)

sailors just don't do it for me jeanie.

Fair enough cate. They don't really do it for me either. It's just that song came out with all the sailors in it around the time my ex went and joined up after we'd been together for two years. Him doing basic training and gave me a whole new toy to play with and gave the relationship a few more months longevity. That basic training really does get a guy buff!! :D
BUT I wouldn't have a problem if a guy was a sailor. Would completely depend on the guy. :) And not so easily swayed by buffness anymore either! :)

And cate is exceptionally clever. No panting required:)

And I'm not going there! But I will say that I think I said mostly blonde!

Mostly I'm an extremely clever brunette with an exceptional hairdresser!! :D
no no no it wasn't sam neill. it was the other guy. whose name escapes me. he's on his way to the generator hut or whatever to find out what ahppened to the sam jackson character i think. he's with elly(laura dern) and says to her they are being hunted and tells her to run. one raptor draws his attention while another moves in from another direction for the kill.

Think it was somewhere in SA or VIC. really strange seeing as they've never done it in WA. lots of sun and concentrated population here in Perth.

Oh good DinghyDog, thanks for that!! I was starting to think I'd imagined it or something. I thought maybe around the edge of the desert somewhere. I'll have to have a look on google or something see what else I can find out. It'll drive me mad otherwise. :)

Really not sure why they haven't done more in terms of solar energy over there in WA. You're right, you guys are in a perfect place for it to work well. :)

I remember that guy. The big macho hunter guy. Wasn't he south african? I think he was in the novel, but its been a long time since I've read it or seen the movie.

yeah he had one of those weird accents. probably was south african. being a hunter it'd surely make sense.
