I have to agree with that.

But I also have to say, I hope it doesn't come down to THAT choice.

Great job Ron Paul! It's sad that he got about 5 questions while the higher-profile candidates got dozens in a foolish format.

Very unscientific numbers and comparison, but at least somebody's paying attention.....

It's funny that after last night Ron Paul jumped to the highest + ranking on the msnbc.com poll. I was really impressed with him last night. A couple of things that stood out to me, I felt like Nancy Reagan should have stood up and pulled out a classic saying to Mitt Romney, "I knew Ronnie Reagan sir, and you are no Ronnie Reagan". It's okay to honor the guy but I felt like stood out w/ always trying to through the name out there.

Also, McCain came across very stiff and acted like a crazy man in his opening statement. A man that could have once had my vote (and I'm a hardcore Democrat) has sold himself out to the far right and the hawks and it's a shame.

Rudy didn't impress me much, but he didn't turn me off much either, which in a debate like this could be considered a tiny victory.

I like Ron Paul's answers a lot too... Huckabee interested me as well. I don't agree with him on a lot of social issues, but he seems honest and a decent person (as much as a politician can be).

McCain doesn't seem to have a chance... he has just way too many negatives to make it.

Is it just me or does Romney remind anyone of a Republican John Kerry? I mean the look is kind of there, the delivery, and some other things I'm too tired to remember right now.

Here's what popped out at me from the whole debate:

Can you believe 3 of them don't believe in evolution? I would expect maybe one of them, but THREE?

Mitt Romney came off as an asshole.

Guiliani came off the best I think, in general terms.

Boy you could tell that no one really gave a shit about anyone but Romney, McCain and Guiliani.

They sure want to make themselves out to be Reagan II .


It was entertaining. I like the way what's his name hosting was cutting them off too.
