Guitar Hero 4 and Pearl Jam songs

I was just watching some videos describing the functionality of this game. I'm not a big gamer, but my wife and kids and I really loved playing Rock Band together. I know that GH4 has a recording studio where you can create your own tracks, and actually the guitar parts can be played to coincide with actual notes. From what I saw you can pick a scale and the notes/chords are indicated by the color on the fret board of the guitar. This got me to thinking, about going over to Given To Wail to find out the actual chords used in som PJ songs, for rythm, bass and lead, and then recording those into the studio and making your own mini cover band. It seems like this could be pretty fun.

    I thought about doing this also, but I can't read tabs and apparently they're gonna take down songs shared online that sound like something copy righted.

    Tabs are pretty easy to read. However, I think the studio will let you play certain scales with the notes/chords associated with those scales. So you should be able to play either with tabs or just the chord information from what I've seen.

    hour's to go till guitar hero world tour hit's the shelves! picking this one up at bestbuy tomorrow morning! the band kit style! :)

    with many bands releasing full length albums to guitar hero & the rock band series, hopefully pearl jam will do the same, maybe!

    For GH:WT you can make songs, but if they recognize them when you upload them you won't be able to share them supposedly. And you can't include vocals.

    The RUMOR is that "Daughter" will be an upcoming DLC song for RB2.

    Damn, I just remembered something I read earlier. The songs are limited to 1200 notes or 3 minutes in length. So that just limited the number of songs we could make :(
