but anyway back to the original topic,
and omg, i never knew that naming a god damn teddy bear would be such an offence. So what she used name Mohammed it's a fucking popular muslim name. Don't the people themselves realise they're acting like complete twats?
What kind of intelligence do those people have if they cannot realise that they're being unfair? the poor woman didn't even know she was not allowed to do so.
hehe, i wonder what's going to happen if one day some westerner decides to do a religious comedy show, similar to my favourite show "Father Ted". I actually want now for someone to mock their religion.
So the government gives woman 15 days, and then they wonder why west is scared, and doesn't want them to make nuclear bombs  Then they fucking wonder why some western people and me included are suspcious of them.0 -

The situation is pathetic but if you want to live in a country you ought to learn its laws. Its not an issue of naming a teddy bear. The religion is strict with regards to naming an INANIMATE object with a Holy name.0 -

alright, so she is not even allowed to make a little mistake? and forgiven on the grounds of being not native?
also, some immigrants who live in the UK don't even bother to learn English language!! and they stay in their own communities. disgraceful......
and over there they give 15 days with deportation to someone who's been a good teacher, but accidently named a bloody teddy. tut tut0 -

She made the choice of living in a country where they hold religion higher than anything else. Even incorporating it into law. I don't say its fair but it was her choice to live there.
I am also opposed to immigrants who don't learn the language of the country they are immigrating to. My assumption is language isn't as emotionally significant to people as religion could be.0 -

erm...well, that's what i thought. but this is what i've found out
"It takes about 15 pounds of plutonium-239 or uranium-235 to fashion a crude nuclear device."

when it comes to religion many many people have no sense of humour.
so now the sudan want nuclear weapons too? when did that happen? i think you'll find you are incorrect on this point. but then perhaps you were lumping all muslim countries together as one big homogenous blob of a potential terrorist breeding ground.hear my name

in a way i was putting them all into potential terrorist breeding ground, but when i was writing about neuclear power i had one particular country in my mind which was Iran

i watched private ryan once, just so you know
it's the same old shit...we waited too long then - so now we don't fuck around, get in the middle of the shit, and we should be ashamed of that too.
America, the only place where no matter what you do, it's wrong.
It's hilarious to me that somebody so ignorant can so confidently bash this crap out on the keyboard from day to day. Canada actually sacrificed a higher percentage of the population to the war than the US did. Of course we fought throughout the whole war though, so I guess those numbers are inflated. All that red, white and blue rah rah rah bullshit that you get fed from diapers really skews your perspective on the world.
I have to know: where did you get the idea that the US saved the Allies ass? Do yourself a favour and read about the Soviet Union's "contributions" to the war and then come back and tell me that the states won the war.
The difference between now (Iraq) and then (WW2) is that "then" was a worthy cause. The US fought for 2 years in WW2 to help stop a maniac who was hell bent to create his own world. It's been 4 years in Iraq now, and what have you accomplished? Fuck all - that's what.
And to stay on topic, Jesus and his fundamentalist followers are just as fucked up as Mohammed and his fundamentalist followers. I wished that I lived 1000 years from now, so I could live in a time where religion is obsolete.1/12/1879, 4/8/1156, 2/6/1977, who gives a shit, ...0 -

I can see where you are coming from on everything except for that last point. You may hear of a fundamentalist Christian putting a bomb at an abortion clinic once every five years, but this is an everyday way of life for Muslims in some parts of the world. It is ridiculous and makes no fucking sense. Whole governments are created on this warped and idiotic point of view of the Muslim religion.Seeing visions of falling up somehow.

according to the article, the kids chose the name mohammed after one kid in the class. who in their right mind would ever think that would be a problem?0 -
