Hey..
sorry, I'm new to this board.
but a long time fan of PJ
what's the deal with the bootleg downloads.
it seems they are not available now.
does PJ retire these after a while?
what's the deal?
can I expect to be able to buy old shows again via download?

The good news is the retired boots are freely trade-able - as such they are readily (and legally) available in the threads posted above. Enjoy - there is enough music there to last well into 20900 -

but the bad news is that none of the 07 shows apart form Lollapalooza are availablemjb wrote:The good news is the retired boots are freely trade-able - as such they are readily (and legally) available in the threads posted above. Enjoy - there is enough music there to last well into 2090
(can you even still buy that one? maybe on fucking iTunes
, but not the flac from lolla anymore afaik)
and audience recordings for 07 range form good-ok (Vic, Munich, Wembley, Copenhagen) to shit (and I personally taped 3 I don't even dare putting out, so it's not a slight on the tapers, some of them I know!)
there's some article where Mike was talking about releasing boots this tour...but another from Stone that basically said they wouldn't systematically anymore, plus an off-the-cuff comment from Ed at his LA show to the same effect..and I, for some reason, think Ed and Stone have more PJ-business weight and knowledge than Mike does
