    exactly.

i was going to add that, but i figured just letting him think about the satellite photo angle would be enough for mental gears to start churning on overdrive.

instead he just totally ignored the comment and came back with "Come one dude".

He also seems to completely miss the actual point of Iraq.
It was not, as Roland so well stated, to find WMDs and come home.

It was to instill a permanent INSTABILITY in the region, thereby causing permanent US presence in the region, and furthering a military industrial complex that is making bankers billions and trillions a year.

It also, as you said, is serving to undermine American liberty.

The fact that My2Hands cant see that is what is ultimately the most disturbing aspect of this.
Because MOST americans are just like him.

    :sigh:

I question everything and in 2002 I fully expected a plant of some kind in Iraq however, as events unfolded in the next year I grew wiser. I realized this wasn't the real point of attacking Iraq and the taking out of Saddem. A planted WMD would've been too easy and left the effect of 9/11 useless.

With an atmosphere of fear so many more avenues of institutional change could be implemented for years to come. Remember that Terror Alert nonsense and when you repeat possible terriost attack enough people will and did believe it. This sort of reminded me of what the Nazi's did back in WWII in how they kept their people in fear and any dissent would be considered anti-Germany. I believe we had that same sentiment here shortly after 9/11, if you questioned our gov't you're anti-American.

A weapon found in Iraq whether planted or not wouldn't have had the same continuing impact of turning up the fear factor here in America.

We also intend on controlling this whole region by building permanent military US bases in Iraq. I believe at least 4 of them throughout Iraq and an US Embassy that could cost at least 1 billion dollars.
Bush Asserts Right to Ignore Law Barring Funds for Permanent US Bases in Iraq
The news comes as President Bush has declared he has the right to bypass a new law that prohibits the use of taxpayer money to establish permanent US bases in Iraq. The ban was passed as part of the new National Defense Authorization Act. Hours after signing the bill Monday, Bush issued a signing statement asserting his right to ignore the restriction that bars federal funding “to establish any military installation or base for the purpose of providing for the permanent stationing” of US forces or “to exercise United States control of the oil resources of Iraq.” Bush’s signing statement also asserted his right to ignore a measure that boosts protection for whistleblowers employed by companies with government contracts. And the statement also objects to the creation of an independent commission on contracting fraud and waste in Iraq and Afghanistan.

According to Ralph, '9/11 would never have happened if he was President.' Got to love the ego.

See the problem is, he will never be President. Never. Get it? Never.

You know, I like some of what Ralph Nader says, but I'm sick and tired of him popping up every four years saying he's running for President when he does nothing to build a viable third party in the years between. If he's SERIOUS, why isn't he out there tirelessly stumping for non-Democrat/Republican candidates at State levels? If our two-party system is ever going to change, it's going to happen from the bottom up. It's not rocket science.

It's like he is dangling candy on a stick in front of us. Close enough to see, but not close enough to touch. You're never going to taste it.

everything you said is bang on.
The embassy is a fucking joke.
    a sick fucking joke.

Your quote reminded me of this, and it wasn't pleasant:

    41 seconds in

"It is our duty as loyal americans to shut up once the fighting begins."

"Once the war against Saddam Hussein begins, we expect every American to support our military. And if they can't do that, to shut up."

    WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?

    Screw the Olbermann thread.
Seriously, who gives a fuck about a guy going over the top while making valid points.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT?

    That is blatant fascist propaganda.
    I mean its fucking sick.

I'd RATHER have the nazis out and out won the war, than this subliminal mindfuck bullshit.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

You really have to wonder where this idea got born and why it's allowed (even tolerated) to be promulgated with such vehemence. Especially so from close the the "source" so to speak as Oreilly is/aligns. This is a direct window into the inner circle mind set in my opinion. I don't see it as casual, or by chance.

And the "whole with or against" polarization speech and "let us not tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories"were something an adult would say to a nation of frightened 10 year olds. Harsh...very. Little windows of opportunity from which too look in and see what the emperor is wearing.

Limiting people's choices is a power play, designed to control things for specific purposes. Such limits, like in "you're either for or against us" are an illusion, plain and simple.

We all have the power to look beyond that, and create from empowerment rather than limitation and control.

This is the key part. I mean, who do you think owns the politicians? (not you, but people in general) The big fucking bankers that run this country and if they aren't making money they are going to make it hell for those "in power".

If they found the WMD's then it's mission accomplished time to come home. Iraq has been disarmed. A sense of finality. i.e. "They did what they said they were going to do and now it's over". If they don't find them, then they gotta keep looking....

    this is way off...

americans have wanted out of iraq for years now and they openly stopped looking for WMD's years ago... so not finding WMD as an excuse to stay? come on dude. you 9/11 guys really stretch sometimes

it is so obvious it is smacking your guys in the face...

Michael J. Fox, brother of Jeffrey L. Fox, Tower 2, 89th floor
If I'm not mistaken, it's not the actor Michael J. Fox but just a brother of a victim. I can't find any information where the actor had a brother who died on 9/11.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

    yeah
    i think you're right.
he has a brother, but his name is "steven"

i like the notion of the Michael J Fox signing on to this though, so we will roll with it.
    ;)

besides, this gives me an excuse to bump this.
    lol
