Car owner?
I was wondering if Ed Vedder owns a car, and what kind? This is kind of an odd question, but I thought it was interesting. People like Ed don't exactly have a lot of time for driving around.

I read once where Mike owns a BMW. *GASP*
How dare he?!?!0 -
in the Single Video Theory DVD he's driving a gas guzzling Volkswagen thingy... however he offsets this by wearing a stupid fluffy hatoh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0

Yeah that VW was pretty cool...Looked like an Import from overseas.
Anyone know what kind of car that was?
Also...didn't he used to drive a beat up old Toyota truck back in the day?0 -

I should have known...Upon further reading, the VW Type 3 fastback (1600TL) is a popular car with surfers.
Let's see...It has the word fastback in it...and it's a surfers car.
Hmm...wonder why Eddie likes it.
I think the furry SVT hat actually comes with the car in some places in Eastern Europe.0 -

That's what i remember reading somewhere on the board a while back... he had some old jalopy that supposedly he drove before the band broke and made crazy money in the early 90's, and he kept driving that even when he was successful and rich.
I have no idea how current that "rumor" was/is though.the palms, in the breeze, still blow green
and the waves in the sea still absolute blue0 -
