    Dwight Eisenhower ( zero political experience)
    Franklin Delano Roosevelt (3 years Governor NY)
    Teddy Roosevelt (1 year Governor of NY)

    had less politcal experience than Obama

    The worst president ever (prior to GWB)
    Richard Nixon
    spent most of his life in politics

    so what the fuck does experience have to do with it anyway?????

    2 years on State Senate
    4 years Governor

    32 years in the military, INCLUDING as military governor of the US occupation zone in Germany after its surrender. I said "experience" not "political experience."

    Formed and lead the first volunteer cavalry regiment in preparation for the Spanish-American War. Was a Vice President for 6 months before the death of McKinley, which put him into office. He wasn't actually elected president.

    you're splitting hairs
    still three great Presidents with little Washington experience

    it's always convienient to use though... 4 years ago John Kerry had too many Washington ties and that was one of the reasons the GOP used against him... remember he had "waffled" so much over the years...
