    But it does make some sense to have her as vp. I think he needs her to win. He needs someone to wear the pants in the white house.

    My God ... could you imagine if he actually picked Hillary as his running mate? The right would have a field day:

    "He can't even stand up to Hillary Clinton. How is he going to stand up to Vladimir Putin or Achminijad?"

    I think Hillary would be a bad, bad choice. Maybe you gain the Hillary supporters (who aren't gonna vote for McCain anyway), but you might lose the vast majority of independents.

    According to Politico today Hillary wasn't even vetted by the Obama camp. She won't be the choice.

    While I agree you're probably right that she won't be the choice ... she's basically spent the past 16 years being "vetted." We know all her skeletons.

    very interesting. well, we know now it's not going to be Hillary Clinton, Tim Kaine or Evan Bayh.

    out of the blue today, the mainstream media throws out the name Chet Edwards.

    so although I still see Kathleen Sebelius as a strong possibility, I'm guessing it's gonna be Chet Edwards. it's funny that he represents a district that includes Crawford, TX. but i have no idea what makes this guy a compelling choice because i've never seen him before. very very interesting.

    by the way, although i contend that Washington D.C. is incurably corrupt and Barack Obama has no intentions of trying to cure that, and although i have no faith in whomever he will choose, because they're all players in this bogus game of representative government we let them play... I am SO GLAD that Hillary Clinton is not the nominee. because as a media personality, I do not want to have to deal with her. i shut off my cable a few weeks ago, but she would still haunt me on network TV and the internet. really, i would love for her to fall in a black hole so that her particles would dissipate and scatter around the universe never to be reformed again as Hillary Clinton. sames goes with Bubba.

    I'm about 99% sure it will be Biden.

    ok, now that i know a little more about Chet Edwards, I'm no longer guessing Obama will pick him:
