the best opener i have seen was ANIMAL va beach 98 will never forget that show they ended the show with PORCH AMAZING!!!!!!!!

    Just to throw my opinion in here....
    I have heard Release as an opener on a boot or two but having Animal as the opener would be MEGA-AWESOME. That song drops on you like a ninja with sword drawn.

    i too, would go with realease, its just the best. i like the way it eases you into the show. its like a nice handshake with the band before the big night ahead.

    I agree with Release. It's almost like I'm being released from my normal life and helped by the band into a much better place for the following several hours.Sometimes I glance at everyone around me, all of us with hands thrust in the air , and think this is as physically and mentally close to a religious, small r, experience as I'm ever going to be. It definitely sets the table for the 2-1/2 hours of exhiliration that follows .
