A lot of the people on this board are ridiculous and stubborn. Is there really a reason for all the bickering and in-fighting? We are going to get news tomorrow that could pertain to a tour or new music OR BOTH. How could either of those be bad?

Shouldn't we all just be happy and talk about the possibilities of such a cool thing happening? It seems like the people that are vehemently stating their opinions have a God complex. Get over the situation and yourself. NO ONE knows what the announcement is going to be. You're just making assumptions based on how someone typed a board message. Eggs in a row, ducks in a basket.....get a life and just shut up and wait.

    in fact, i don't care about the announcement. i'm far from USA, so even it will be a new album - i will have to wait anyway.
    but i'm a little bit tired of all of these birds... where is the case - if people find out the news tomorrow or a few days later? stupid, unnecessary fuss...

    We're loud because we don't want to miss out on anything.

    Much like missing out on poster sales because we aren't on the boards daily, I'm pretty sure none of us want to miss out on any tour/ticket info. This happened to me a few weeks ago when the Lollapalooza 08 tickets went on sale ($60 for a three day pass? Hell yeah I'll waste a day saving myself $100!)

    It's hype. If there's anything worth obsessing about, it'd be for a tour announcement. If there was a specified date/time instead of vague hints, there'd be less people crying about "needing" info.

    We're all Pearl Jam fans here. No one wants to miss out on anything. The case in point is that there is nothing to miss. No one knows what IT is. They are just making guesses. Even I have.     Some people who have been with 10C since the early days seem to think that the band owes them certain things, i.e. best tickets, first-born sons. But now, it seems to be spreading like the plague. Everyone wants what they cant always have and if they don't get their way, they whine and complain and throw fits like a child would.

    It just makes me feel ashamed to be a fan sometime.

    :D also don't forget there are people here ( like me ) who don't believe in God, so be extremly careful or they might hijack this thread ;):D ...only kidding btw.

    i guess people like to spice things up a bit in here, with a little argument here and there, i honestly don't mind it. :)

    Well, I'm Buddhist, so.....

    I don't mind the arguing sometimes but it has increased exponentially since I joined the board.

    Spice? I prefer sage as opposed to mustard seed.

    Why do people complain and fight when neither will yield any results?

    Telling people to calm-down, or complaining about the way in which the announcementa are made, won't improve anything.

    If only people would put so much effort into real causes, such a poverty, hunger, diease, etc, it would be a better world!

    I personally don't think anyone is intentionally trying to be "ugly" (a "Southern" term) I think fans are just over-excited - is all. Even with all of the "fussing" - the fact remains - we ALL love Pearl Jam....and that's what matters.
