It's an easy promise to make when it isn't your money...
But I do like the push towards innovation, something that this country has seriously lacked from our government in the past couple of decades. My whole life

Isn't that what every politician does? Isn't that the whole premise of the federal government in its current state?"I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." EV, 04/13/080 -

yeah, point taken. To me at least, it just seems like promising $300 million "reward" money is different than promising $300 million in a service or whatever. In the end, I guess it's the same thing. My whole life

does the u.s. government then get rights to the technology? if so, seems to me a person who created and designed something of this magnitude would make more money in the market place. i could be wrong though.0

however, I thought McCain to be a free-market sort of fella...
That's what he says. That what Bush said, too. But Bush was the biggest spender and grower of the government we've had in decades. I don't consider either of these guys free-market guys. They are statists whose only interest is increasing the size and scope of government."I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." EV, 04/13/080 -

That's what I was thinking!
F the government! The guy who invents that will be worth billions!Sacramento 10-30-00, Bridge School 10-20 and 10-21-01, Bridge School 10-25 and 10-26-01, Irvine 06-02-03, Irvine 06-03-03, San Diego 06-05-03, San Diego 07-07-06, Los Angeles 07-09-06, Santa Barbara 07-13-06, London UK 06-18-07, San Diego 10-9-09, San Diego 2013, LA 1 20130 -
If somebody invents that, it's going to make billions of dollars , no just 300 millions. And lets face it, someday it will come but it's going to be made by a huge corporation , not by a guy who invented the battery in his garage.
What an idiot0
