    His words were taken out of context. Joe Biden is not racist...not even close. He happens to have some great ideas regarding the war, environment, education, and healthcare (not to mention getting rid of those tax cuts that the oil companies have been enjoying).

    It's a shame that something stupid like this has to take center stage on the day he announced his candidacy. It's amazing what the media will hold onto (on all ends of the spectrum). This will probably have a huge impact on him which sucks because he has been one of the most outspoken and liberal senators we have.

    Yeah, it is sad. I have a tremendous amount of respect of Biden. If Obama wasn't running Biden would be my #1.

    Before his ill-advised comments, the Democratic candidates were Obama, Hilary, Edwards, and a bunch of other guys... Thanks to this controversy a lot more people know Joe Biden's name. That sad thing is that he took a lot of shots in that interview at the other contenders, and everyone focuses on one off hand comment.

    One thing I like about Biden, is that he will talk... and talk... and talk... He is kind of like the anti-Hilary where instead of keeping his comments to focus group tested language, he will actually say what he is thinking (good or bad).

    The guy is smart in the Senate... willing to talk specifics about Iraq and take risks doing it... He tells it like it is when you see him on CSPAN... works with Repbulicans and Democrats to get stuff done... He's clean, main-stream, and articulate.... ;-)

    But as soon as you put a Spotlight on that guy... It's like... He just can't wait to tear off his shoe, roll down his sock, and start munching on his foot... WTF!?!?!!

    I know! I'm actually really pissed at him right now. He's my number one! His ideas on Iraq are great and he's not afraid to speak his mind. Something about Hillary bugs me. I feel like she sits and waits to see what the polls say...and then she comes out and sprews out some crap that she KNOWS will be well received. I mean, she probably has the best political advisor of ANY of them (gotta love Bubba) but something about her seems so transparent. I wanna love her...I really do. I'm a 28 year old girl from New York. I'm her target demographic. Why can't I bring myself to like her?!
