    How about if a movie came out showign the assination of Al Sharpton....

    I'm afraid I agree with you - not comfortable with it really, despite the fact that I am counting the days till 1-20-09. I think there should be a certain level of respect for the OFFICE and position of the President, even if the current occupant of that role is substandard (as is the case at this time).

    As I stated earlier and will again and again. If he can joke about WMD at the cost of an entire country, nobody should worry about this at all.

    Doesn't bother me.

    I write stories all the time, where a character is modeled after me; than I kill the character off :D:D One particular story I kill myself off right in the Prologue:D

    Love Bush? Fine. Love him? Fine.

    But I can't help but wonder if all the hatred for JFK is one of the reasons that lead to his assasination, which will forever be one of the darkest hours of our nation. Same with Lincoln.

    So, maybe it isn't such a good idea for us to believe that we can do or say anything without consequences. That leads to anarchy.

    Personally, it creeps me out that there is a movie depicting the assasination of a sitting President. I would feel the same regardless of party.
