I can't believe that's what the dems are are going with, now just flipping the McCain shit talk on experience.
Obama, give us something new.0 -

Obama, give us something new.
And that's why it's such a great pick...Obama has been running a terrific campaign, and now this is all they have????
McCain just turned it up a notch, if the Dems don't do the same, they'll once again be complaining about how an election was stolen from them.hippiemom = goodness0 -
I'm just glad it wasn't Romney. That guy literally makes my stomach turn. Listening to him defend the last 8 years for the next 3 months would have been horrific.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0

Just so everyone knows, I have been preaching Palin since around February.
And again - Palin could raise boatloads of money for the GOP by giving lapdances at fundraisers.Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?0 -

So, it'll be issue that the Reb VP has little experience, but not an issue that the Dem Presidential candidate has little experience?
I have no problem with it, of course I'm not voting for either candidate so it doesn't really matter what I think. As I stated in an earlier post I would prefer that she where running for president over McCain or Obama."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -
Mrs Palin:
- Eloped with her HS sweetheart to avoid a crazy expensive wedding
- Rose to office by going after the then-GOP governer for ethics violations
- Played basketball
- Was a sportscaster on tv
- Squeaky-clean image
- Has a son on his way to Iraq in a few months so she's personally vested in what happens here. It's easier to support a war when it's just a video game on your tv
- Went back to work three days after having a baby
She sounds grounded to me. We'll hear more about her national policies soon and learn more , hopefully.
I think in this election the VP choice may matter more than in the past. This is because 1) Cheney greatly expanded the VP role and 2) there is a higher likelihood of the VP being in office as the Prez. Too many crazy hilljacks that won't salute a black man and McCain is old.Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?0 -
She also kills Biden in terms of being "blue collar."
Her husband is an oil rig worker and a commercial fisherman. And her son is being deployed to Iraq next month so you can't attack her for being detached from the war which is a common attack strategy by Dems.
She's just a real good choice.- Busted down the pretext

Biden's son is also going to Iraq so that sort of levels that playing field."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

True, but Biden's other son got a cushy job from MBNA who is Biden's leading corporate donor.
I just think it's going to be hard for Biden to push a message for "Change" to support Obama when he's been in Congress since Nixon and Obama was 11 and Palin was 8 when he started serving.- Busted down the pretext

so what?
seriously....hasn't mccain been around forever as well? and if elected he WILL be the president, rather than simply the VP. while a well-balanced ticket, and well-blanced pres/vp is important, bottomline...who IS the president to me, is THE most important. in regards to the whole 'change' idea.....i don't care what age you are or howq long you've been around...it's what you do....and that idea of 'change' can be embraced at any age or point of experience....depending on what you want to accomplish.
anyhoo....it most definitely is a VERY strategic move, and a good choice for him, no doubt. however, i STILL want to see obama as our next president. mccain, palin as VP or not, will NOT be the presidency i want to see guide our future.Stay with me...

we would be in a much different place if Bush took John McCain instead of CHENEY... but Bush would have never done that because they dont agree on 95 % or whatever the dems were lying to you about... McCain has always supported every president... EVERY PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
