do you think obama, hillary or mccain have done anything to make them white house material? if so, what?Strangest Tribe wrote:He's spanking them on the ass making them his bitch.
c'mon.... sleeping with the big corporations huh?
Were you the one that scolded me yesterday for making blanket statements about Nader?
Let me ask you a question.
If your guy Nader was President, how long do you think he'd let the phone ring when company X came calling?
Do you think he'd answer the phone or let it ring?
Does he call them back or ignore them?
You know so much... tell me how it works.
Please I neeeeeeeeeeed to know. Sleeping with corporations sounds nasty.
yes, i think he would ignore them. he's not the one saying lobbyists would have jobs in his white house like obama has and also doesn't have pharmaceutical lobbyists as campaign chairs nor a federally indicted influence peddler on his finance committee
you think these ppl are giving him thousands and thousands of dollars w/o expecting anything in return? you think maybe it could've influenced his votes and stances like being against capping credit card interest rates at 30% and pushing nuclear power and coal?standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so

hey guess what??? they've all served in public office and the people are holding them accountable for every little move they've made.
makes a difference.

so your answer is to ignore the lobbyists???
all of them, or just the EVIL ones???
would you ignore the AARP or the NAACP.... the lobby for the advancement of handicapped people.... the Coca Cola is a great soft drink lobby????
btw... I would be against a 30% cap on the credit card interest as well....because it basically allowed rates to go to 30% without cause.
I believe they expect a 20% or lower agreement by 2009.
...but that's just the word out there, I'm not gonna peck around for facts on this band's fan sight to reassure my credibility.the Minions0 -

yep
i guess that's subjective...obama kept going to court until everyone else was thrown off the ballot or dropped out and won an uncontested senate race i don't see winning a race where no one but you is on the ballot as some great feat, sorry. and ppl aren't holding them accountable!!! obama's missed nearly 1/2 the votes in the senate since being elected! and not to mention the dems took the majority by promising things like ending the war...and they didn't do shit, they tried to put a withdrawl in once, bush said no and the dems....gave in and kept right on rubber stamping bush's wishes.
same w/ the FISA issues (which obama didn't bother to vote on), the dems complained and complained about the illegal wire taps and they take the majority and....cave in and change the law so it's not legal.
what have they been held accountable for?Strangest Tribe wrote:so your answer is to ignore the lobbyists???

no, not all lobbyists are 'evil' but obama has run on a platform of that pretty much, hasn't he?? at least early on he did. he kept going on about how he didn't deal w/ lobbyists, he didn't take money from them, they wouldn't have a job in his white house.....all lies and now he's changed to 'they won't dominate his white house' he says what he needs to say, just another politician.
so you think not having a cap will prevent interest rates from going up to 30% or even more? that doesn't make any sense...if it's capped you're saying they would make all the rates 30%, but if there isn't cap they won't?? huh?standin above the crowd

and he certainly won't help bring peace to the middle east w/ regards to anything w/ israel, he even said he won't force israel to try and make peace and how it's pretty much everyone else's fault but israel's for the problems over there....i guess he sees nothing wrong w/ continually tearing down homes and building illegal settlements, blockades, road blocks/check points that strangle the populace to where it's hard to even go to a doctor or work....several human rights and children's organizations like UNICEF have reported on how palestinian chilldren now are severely malnourished b/c of the road blocks and israel's actions
but yeah, he wouldn't even commit to having troops out of iraq by 2013 and the troops he does take out of iraq will just be redeployed elsewhere as he expands and modernizes the militarystandin above the crowd

what have they been held accountable for?
you just made him accountable for missing 1/2 the senate votes.
you have scrutinized his record.
Nader doesn't have a record to scrutinizeEl_Kabong wrote:no, not all lobbyists are 'evil' but obama has run on a platform of that pretty much, hasn't he?? at least early on he did. he kept going on about how he didn't deal w/ lobbyists, he didn't take money from them, they wouldn't have a job in his white house.....all lies and now he's changed to 'they won't dominate his white house' he says what he needs to say, just another politician.

Nader doesn't have a record to scrutinize
but to a majority it doesn't matter that he can't even show up to do his job 1/2 the time
nader has a very long record and it's a lot harder what he's done than showing up to capitol hill to vote! his entire life has been dedicated to the public goodStrangest Tribe wrote:no they want a lower cap. 30% is too high.

you've got that right...
the bad part about the legislation though is that it legally changes the cardholder's agreement...
it's not necessarily good.
I'm locked at 6.9% on a balance transfer. If the legislation passes, they could legally call my loan or move me up to 20%...
this is why some of these spins are unfactual, coming from ALL political camps...the Minions0 -

Even IF you take BO at face value he'll be a shitty diplomat. That's just making the bold assumption that he'll do what he said he'll do. It's nothing short of insanity.0 -

and then say "one of the reasons i was against this war was b/c we didn't finish the one in afghanistan first" ???? if you were against it and think it's a 'stupid war' that wouldn't matter! it's like saying 'i don't molest little kids b/c i'm in a relationship right now....' what about being morally against it???standin above the crowd

Why then is it that Obama is held with such high regard through the eyes of the world?

Secondly, as he mentioned, Kabong's DOG could beat McWarmonger in an election.
In fact, the only difference I see between Obombthefuckouttairaqa and McWarmonger is political party. They'll both be in the middle east forever and they'll both continue illegally occupying other sovereign nations that have never attacked the U.S.0 -
