I'm actually more bothered by people who want to vote for Giuliani than I am by Giuliani himself.

    damn straight yo...

As a former employee of ms. Kehn, the only boss that i've ever liked, i'm not sure how ANYONE could not vote for Fred!
And you ask me what I want this year
And I try to make this kind and clear
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
Cuz I don't need boxes wrapped in strings
And desire and love and empty things
Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days

what exactly is his law firm selling? in order words, what is this "american infrastructure" ?

    Look up Oklahoma Superhighway.

I was unaware until now the Guliani has a stake in this.

The questions the reporters were asking were legitimate. More reporters should be asking these questions so it won't take a scene like this to get these questions posed. Then Gulianis spokesman could have a bullshit answer prepared and a scene like this would be needed for legitimate follow up questions. More muckraking is needed.

I can see how the "real" reporter may seem right since he seems amicable, but with the complacency between media and government he doesn't have a leg to stand on accusing more agressive reporting as activism. We are better off with these guys as reporters than Judith Miller.

    Thanks abook.
  • let me try this again. LEARN TO READ...

you said that people do it to the democrats too...deflecting...i'm not shocked by your inabilities.

The irony of you telling him to learn to read in this instance has gotten me all giggly.

You made it an issue by bring up how 'some people here' just rail against Republicans just because they are republicans. To quote you:

'if you slap the republican label on ANY candidate, there are those people, here, who would not vote for that person just because of that label...not based on credentials, actions, plan, etc. of the candidate...'

Obviously you are the one lacking in the reading comprehension dept. because kabong and many others lefties have been speaking out in more than just a few threads concerning Obama and other Dems as well. So your little comment is due to ignorance...pure and simple. There's no 'deflecting' because your point doesn't have a leg to stand on....sorry. Next time do a quick search before putting your foot in your mouth.

You come across as a spiteful little ball of misery. Hope that clears up for you...if not, I'm more than a little tempted to just go ahead and put you on ignore.
If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

dude, i'm not even arguing against him...but, i'm not surprised that he has failed to post something substantive about the issue at hand (the issue that HE and his "significant" other raised).

ah, were you that lonely today? sorry i had things to do...and the reason i hesitate posting anything for jlew is it's common knowledge he doesn't read most of the replies to him, which he proved to me earlier in the week

and besides, i thought you said it was an 'illogical' waste of time????
    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way
