    agreed, its better than nothing. the good thing about living in VT is being within a reasonable driving distance to many shows on a usual tour. the bad thing is that none of them are really close (say an hour drive, most are 2-3-4 hours away).

    I know; after living in Bellingham, WA, I got used to driving to Seattle or the Gorge or Vancouver, so I know how it can be. It's worth living away from lots of annoyances and people.

    I went to UVM (class of 98), my parents bought a condo at Stratton in 1988, then sold it 2 years ago and built a house inbetween Manchester and Stratton on Rte 30.

    I'm surprised that even back in the day when they weren't that huge they didn't traverse up to Burlington or something.

    Anyways, Vermont is beautiful......you'll love it in New England.
